Cottage is set on 25 acres, on the side of a hill, above the tree lined Angus river. It is a self catering rural retreat for 2 people. The non hosted B&B accommodation is set up as a romantic getaway for two, completely private from the road on a working beef cattle farm.
Included are previsions for full cooked breakfasts for each day.
There is no BBQ, oven or hot plates but we have an electric frying pan, microwave, toaster, kettle bar fridge utensils etc. There are 2 pubs and a cafe in Macclesfield with good food and they can do take away.
For safety we do not allow candles to be used in or around the cottage but we have supplied some solar lights instead.
Because Mirrabooka is designed to "Get away from the world for a while" there is no TV, but we do have games, books and peace & quiet. Also NO WIFI but you can get mobile coverage.
The bedroom and lounge open out onto the balcony where the spa bath is screened by bamboo and roller blinds if you want.

Originally built in 1899 this quaint stone cottage is a romantic retreat. With an open fire and claw footed bath the polished jarrah floors add a warmth and style to this beautiful cottage.
The kitchen furniture features a side board all made from the original baltic pine timber. There are laundry facilities for those who can spoil themselves and stay a while.
The sheep graze near by while you cook a barbecue and enjoy the country side amidst century old gum trees.
For those who like to walk a magnificent view can be seen when guests stroll on the 55 acre property. There is plenty to do or just enjoy the heavenly surroundings both inside and out.

Rosewood Mac by Tiny Away is a peaceful farm stay offering a cozy escape situated in Macclesfield, South Australia. Surrounded by gum trees and native wildlife, the property provides a serene retreat while still being close to the Fleurieu Peninsula and the world-class McLaren Vale wine region.
This town is easily accessible through Strathalbyn, Mount Barker, Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary, and Hahndorf. Here in Macclesfield's holiday homes, you can explore history, local cuisines, and wildlife in the South Australia region.
A cozy 190-square-foot tiny home with a lofted queen-sized bed and a convertible double bed couch on the ground floor. with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, “Gums n Roses” (situated 50 meters away from the shed), available with 24 hours' notice in advance.

By public transport: No public transport direct to Macclesfield but taxis and Uber are available between Mt. Barker and Macclesfield.
Train and bus from Melbourne to Adelaide are approximately 10-12 hr drive and 8 hrs by private car. An hour flight to Adelaide Airport, then 40 minutes drive to Macclesfield.

In the heart of Adelaide Hills wine country, Elouera on Shobbrook is located in the small district of Flaxley, and is perched high on a hilltop with beautiful views of the valley and open countryside below.
We are hosts who embrace the values of inclusion and diversity, so all are welcome at our little piece of paradise.
We refer to the property’s guest suite as ‘Little Fermoy’. Ideally suited for 1 couple stays, the guest suite can accommodate up to 4 family members or close friends. It features 2 large bedrooms – 1 King and 1 Queen – each featuring beautiful vintage furniture and decorative pieces, high quality French flax linen bedding and luxuriously comfortable beds.
The bedrooms share a large heritage-styled bathroom with deep soaker tub, separate large walk-in shower, a double marble-top vanity, under-floor heating (winter months only), overhead heat lamps and a heated towel rack.
Included in a stay at Elouera on Shobbrook are cooked breakfast provisions sufficient for the first day of your stay, including freshly baked bread (made by host). The kitchenette is very well equipped with all the food staples, kitchenware and cooking equipment that you could possibly need to whip up light meals, and includes a full sized fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee maker (with a selection of 'starter' pods provided), toaster, electric frypan, electric egg cooker, and a portable benchtop induction element (which you can pop back in the drawer when you're not cooking on it). There is also a small electric BBQ located on the verandah.
The cosy living/dining area (co-located with the kitchenette) contains a 3-seater couch, eating places for 4 (2 at the dining table, and 2 on the couch/coffee table), a 32" wall-mounted smart TV, and coffee table which doubles as a storage box containing a wide range of board games and books.
The guest suite has zoned reverse-cycle aircon/heating, block-out blinds, double-glazed windows, ceiling fans, 100% wool carpet and natural wood flooring, for year round comfort.
Elouera on Shobbrook is located just 5 minutes drive from the historic township of Macclesfield, with its newly renovated General Store and Macclesfield Hotel (renowned for its award winning schnitzels). The stunning family owned Longview Vineyard (with day spa) is located on the outskirts of Macclesfield and is in good company amongst the many Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek wineries which are within comfortable driving distance of the property.
The property is 30 minutes to the outskirts of the city of Adelaide, and 45 minutes from the Adelaide Airport. The large regional town of Mount Barker is a 10-minute drive away. The well-known tourist township of Hahndorf, Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement, is a 15 minute drive away.
Secluded and private, Elouera on Shobbrook is an ideal place to relax and unwind and immerse yourself in the peace and quiet of its rural location.
Sit on the 3 metre wide covered wrap-around verandah with a glass of wine or cup of tea and a good book, with picturesque valley views as your backdrop. Gums n Roses by Tiny Away is a peaceful farm stay offering a cozy escape situated in Macclesfield, South Australia. Surrounded by gum trees and native wildlife, the property provides a serene retreat while still being close to the Fleurieu Peninsula and the world-class McLaren Vale wine region.
This town is easily accessible through Strathalbyn, Mount Barker, Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary, and Hahndorf. Here in Macclesfield's holiday homes, you can explore history, local cuisines, and wildlife in the South Australia region.
A cozy 190-square-foot tiny home with a lofted queen-sized bed and a convertible double bed couch on the ground floor. with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, “Rosewood Mac” (situated 50 meters away from the shed), available with 24 hours' notice in advance.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surrounding areas, except the land host's private residence and electric-fenced garden.
ADVISORY:
- Bring your own firewood to use the fire pit.
- Expect farm animals and machinery noise on our property.
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission.

Windyridge Lodge is set in a Vale of rolling hills in beautiful Echunga, Adelaide, South Australia. The panoramic views are breathtaking and are ideal for those wishing to take a break from it all and smell the clean country air. The farm is set on 20 acres of pristine land, with magnificent views of the land, the animals and a vast array of local wildlife.
The apartment is self-contained, with all the essential equipment such as a fully fitted kitchen, bathroom and shower, satellite TV and a dedicated deck area to enjoy your meals overlooking the vista. The open plan apartment is a single bedroom with a queen bed, ideal for a relaxing and romantic break if you have the time!!. Echunga, the local village, is just down the road 2 km. If you wish to visit the Adelaide CBD, it is only a 30 minute drive. The property is ideally located if your preference is for walking or hiking. There are several trails within close proximity to the apartment, such as the Pinchbeck Track and the Mt Lofty Summit Walk, not to mention the Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens. Henley beach is 40 minutes away and Victor harbour just 45 minutes.
It really is a site you must see to appreciate nature!

No parties or events of any kind are allowed on the property.
For the safety and well-being of all residents and the preservation of the property. Parties can lead to disturbances, damages, and potential liability issues.
The following are strictly prohibited at this property:
• Hens/bucks parties, celebrations, functions of any kind or events.
• Guests are expected to maintain a reasonable noise level and respect the peaceful enjoyment of the property by other residents and neighbours. Anti-social behavior will not be tolerated.
• Guests must follow all local laws, including those regarding noise levels after 11pm, occupancy limits, and alcohol consumption. Guests and members of the guest’s party (but no one else) may occupy the property for holiday purposes only. The Guest must declare the correct number of guests during booking.
• Smoking including vaping, is not permitted in any indoor area of the
property.
• Use of fireworks is strictly prohibited.
• Our Any damage, theft or loss caused to the property, including but not limited to broken furniture, stains, or other damages, will be the responsibility of the guest and charged accordingly.
• This property has a "no pets" rule, it means that guests are not allowed to have pets on the premises. This can include dogs, cats, birds, and other types of animals. It is important for guests to respect the rules set by Magain Real Estate, as violating a "no pets" policy could result in immediate eviction.
Any violation of this of the property Terms & Conditions will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement and eviction from the property. We appreciate your cooperation and respect for your fellow residents.

Our primary concern is the safety and well-being of all residents and the preservation of the property. Parties can lead to disturbances, damages, and potential liability issues.
• Please abide by all signage both in and surrounding the property
• Please do not feed livestock
• Please be mindful of all waterways within the property’s surroundings
• Park all vehicles on concreted surfaces provided (do not park on lawn)
• Please ensure gate is closed with chain upon your departure
• Please place all waste in garbage bins provided, allocate correct garbage
to correct bin
• Please empty dishwasher/wash all dishes used throughout your stay
• Please clean coffee machine if used upon departure
• Please do not cut any trees or bushes within the surroundings for use as
firewood
• Please lock all doors upon your departure and ensure keys are placed
back in key box
• Please strip Linen, ONLY pillowcases and sheets off beds and leave in
rooms. Quilt covers and mattress protectors to stay on beds.
• Please the BBQ to a respectable level, to not be charged an extra
cleaning fee
• Please do not enter or tamper with any doors that have signage advising
no access
• Please respect all fenced areas and do not enter any part of the house
you have not been provided access to, i.e. All the paddocks surrounding
the house
• Do not enter any sheds, or storage areas within the property to avoid
any risk to yourselves and your guests
• Do not swim in the dam
• Please use all amenities provided with respect and responsibility
• Outdoor firepit not to be used during fire ban season, November –
March.
Please note:
Parties, gatherings (exceeding the amount of approved guests) are strictly prohibited.
If evidence of any such event is found after your stay there will be a mandatory cleaning fee of $1000.00.
Gatherings within your approved guests are welcome, however a thorough clean up of the property and its surrounds must be conducted prior to your departure.
