- "Good" - "Spectacular views - we woke up to a snow covered view of the valley and mountains. We were in a room facing the main road and the valley. Good location, right off the Pahalgam main road and a minute's walk from the market. The pony rides start right next to the hotel. Very hospitable staff and our stay included breakfast and dinner. Very good for the price. Only thing was not having running water in the winter (the plumbing doesn't support the sub zero temperatures). The staff provided buckets of water (hot or cold) whenever requested though. Electric blanket was sufficient during the night with snow falling outside. However intermittent power cuts made it a bit cold and scary on a snowy night (a small electric heater wasn't too much help for the cold)."
