For walking into Pornic, take the elevator down to -3 (car park) and exit on foot to shortcut the stairs down the side of the hotel! The best day trip was to the old town of Guerande and to the lovely Grande Briere (for the birdlife and waterways) via the fantastic St Nazaire bridge over the Loire. We didn't have enough days to fit in a trip to Ile Noirmoutier (visible from the balcony). We plan on returning.soon. Thank you for a lovely stay."
