For walking into Pornic, take the elevator down to -3 (car park) and exit on foot to shortcut the stairs down the side of the hotel! Close to the Pornic town, clean and comfortable. The mattress was a bit firm for our liking but never had a bad nights sleep :) Our room faced the canal and had a balcony with a great view. Next time we visit, we will stay here again and recommend to anyone who asks."

The one-way streets in Pornic are easy to master with the helpful town plan provided by the owners. Parking in June was no problem anywhere. Lots to do around the town and adjacent coast. At times, the coves to the west of Pornic reminded us of the Greek Islands, (or Cornwall in good weather and without the crowds!). The best day trip was to the old town of Guerande and to the lovely Grande Briere (for the birdlife and waterways) via the fantastic St Nazaire bridge over the Loire. We didn't have enough days to fit in a trip to Ile Noirmoutier (visible from the balcony). We plan on returning.soon. Thank you for a lovely stay."

Most days we went to nearby seaside villages and walked miles along the shore. Pornic port is relaxed. There is a walkway just above high tide level on the North side of the harbour. We had a good lunch in one of the several yacht harbour restaurants."
