Nestled on the corner of a roundabout on the outskirts of St Nazaire, once inside it reveals itself quite a gem. The bar and restaurant arranged a gorgeous outdoor swimming pool, it’s edges bedecked with thatched parasols makes one think of the south of France rather than southern Brittany. Good food, service and rooms. A good tip is that it’s only a 6 minute drive from La Plage de Mr Hulot where Jacques Tati made the eponymous film in 1953 but which still retains its charming character. "

- "Super " - "Everything " - "I had long dreamed of the perfect French resort hotel on a quiet beach on the basis of the Jaques Tati film. The location is still lovely with a golden sand beach, a sunny southern aspect and the same rocks as in the film. The hotel has areas such as staircases and corridors that are tired but the rooms are fine (although small) and the breakfast area great. Also the bar outside is welcoming. - "super" - "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was large, with a large bathroom. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room and in the lobby, we had access to free still and sparkling room which could be taken to the room. The room had patio doors leading onto a small balcony and full shutters that could be wound up and down. These were a blessing as we stayed in July and the temperature was 30 degrees. There is no air conditioning in the room, but a small tower fan was provided. It did get quite warm. Perhaps they can consider air conditioning going forward. The bedroom carpet was also a little tired looking. We paid for the optional breakfast which was well worth it. A great choice of hot and cold dishes. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "

- "Au top " - "Good hotel for its price. Breakfast very good. " - "The Hotel looks a little worn externally, be aware there is a lunchtime closing between 12 and 3 ish. Receptionist could not speak any, or very little English. I got charged twice for the room, as card payment signal dodgy and there was a power cut for some of our stay so no shower lights etc. However the room was comfortable and clean" - "Needing a reasonable priced bed for a couple of nights near St Nazaire and La Baule , the Inter Hotel Anaide suited us well . Located just of the the main N road west of St Nazaire and just north of Pornichet /La Baule this was a good value base for bed and breakfast . Clean , spacious , and good buffet breakfast . Warning though - my sat nav could not find it . Took us into the local Zone Industrielle to the wrong end of the road and kept going round in circles . The map with on the e mail helped sort out the location . The receptionist told us to put in no 2 route de fondeline not 45 . It is only ya couple hundred yards from the Pornichet exit from the main road . Best choice of restaurants are in La Baule about 5 miles away . There is a brasserie next door but saw little activity there so cannot comment . There was supposed to be some music event on but saw and more importantly heard nothing even though we overlooked the venue . A good value budget hotel"
