The biggest drawback from what is otherwise a very good hotel with helpful staff, is the lack of parking. Free parking exists but is over a mile away, local on street parking is very expensive with a full 24 hours coming out at nearly 25 Euros."

- "We were welcomed by M and Mme Guilbert who showed us how the apartment and how the parking worked. The apartment is in a modern block that is very well maintained. The apartment is very clean, the bed is comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are well designed and practical. All furniture and fittings are excellent. We had an excellent week in the apartment. The parking is an added bonus as we were able to park easily in the dedicated car park and not pay for parking. We could keep our cycles in a locked store. A suggestion: it is worth stressing that the rental does not include bed linen or towels. These items are customary for English people. In order to bring the right sizes of bed linen a note of the dimensions of the bed would be helpful. Liaison with the owners was very positive and speedy."

- "We were welcomed by Madam Veret's daughter who helped us in with our luggage (as the lift was out of action for the majority of our stay). She gave us a full tour and showed us where everything was and gave us a lovely Gateau Battu. The apartment is lovely and very well placed to get into the town by foot. The garage was a great benefit given that parking in St Valery is costly and in demand. We found everything very comfortable and most things were available for use. A few storage containers for food and a maybe a smaller baking tray for the oven would have been useful. We were fortunate to have lovely weather and we had a wonderful holiday in La Baie de la Somme. We would have no hesitation in coming back again and can recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the area. Merci bien, Madam Veret."

The house itself is lovely with fully equipped kitchen and dining/lounge area and 2 spacious bedrooms upstairs. The stairs are quite narrow but all the lovely character houses are like this! There is plenty of pay & display parking at the front of the house. Overall a great place to stay. Merci beaucoup!"
