The worst part was that Check-in is posted at 3PM (which I believe is very late for a place like this) but our room wasn't ready until ~5PM! Then the next day we had people looking for us at the Golf course to "push" us out exactly at 12 PM on the spot... this is incoherent. But we had a great time and will definitely come back."

What my wife and I truly loved about this property is: 1) it's pet friendly. 2) it's gated with roving security - we felt very safe. 3) we had a little issue with the hot water - we called the front desk - and the issue was fixed within minutes - not hours. 4) there's a wonderful breakfast served in the morning from 7am to 11am (times may change in the future). The breakfast personnel were wonderful and very accommodating. The food was hot and plentiful. 5) The layout of the property was very easy to access and there were plenty of parking in front of our room. Overall - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - would definitely stay here in our future travel while enroute to Mexico City - and would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family. The main hotel is 15 years old, and they recently opened a restaurant and bar extension. Also it looks like they are finishing an upstairs event / banquet area. The main lobby/reception area is very big and tastefully finished and furnished. The rooms are very big, clean and well appointed. The exterior grounds are all done in stone, and there is a beautiful cactus garden with palapa bbq area at the end of the hotel. The location was perfect for the trip from Morelia to San Antonio - hotel is at the junction for Monterrey, Saltillo and Matehuala. Found this hotel by chance and will be staying again on the return leg."
