Very quaint and loved the history surrounding the property. Used the shuttle for trip into town. Driver was pleasant and provided us with some tips about Saratoga Spring. - "We are locals and we were so happy to get a second opportunity to stay at The Adelphi for our wedding anniversary. It's probably the most beautiful hotel we've ever stayed in. We got a reservation at Salt and Char which was incredible. The waiter immediately brought over 2 glasses of champagne that were on the house for our anniversary. The room was beautiful. Very high tech with heated bathroom floors, a gorgeous, large tub and a window that looked onto Broadway. They sent up a complimentary dessert because they knew we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The only down side I would say were the pillows. Really uncomfortable. The bed was very comfortable so that was a slight bummer but nothing that was detrimental enough to ruin our night. Also, we parked in the complimentary lot behind the hotel for guests. There is some construction going on in that area. When we left the next morning our tire had a large construction staple in it which gave us a leak we had to get repaired when we got home. Just an unfortunate incident. Overall we had an incredible night on the town and stay in Saratoga thanks to the Adelphi. We really hope we can stay again next year. "
