- "The staff (Burak, Ömer, chef and cleaner) and service level of the hotel was fantastic. They were incredibly helpful, friendly and had a personal touch that we appreciated a lot. The view from the hotel is stunning as you can see the whole bay. The restaurant was also really good, and the breakfast was great! They served really qualitative products. They also have the sweetest cat at the hotel that is very social! The only feedback we have is that the rooms are in need of improvements and renovations. They are clean and well kept, but they are very old and we experienced problems with the water, the electricity and some smell from the sewers (that Burak instantly fixed when we told him). If they renovate the rooms and make them more modern, this hotel will easily be one of the best once in Selimiye. "

- "The Swan Lake hotel is a wonderful place to spend a week. It’s even better than it looks in the photos. Up the hill from Semiliye village, it has a stunning view across the bay. The hotel restaurant/bar is open sided as you can sit in the sun or shade & enjoy the view while you eat. If you’ve never tried a traditional Turkish breakfast, you’re in for a treat. We panicked on the first day, thinking we were expected to eat it all! It’s enough to keep you going until dinner. Home cooked evening meals of our choice were perfect on every occasion: I recommend the fresh fish, while you overlook the sunset. Our bedroom & bathroom were huge & really stylish. Loads of storage space, & the air conditioning was a godsend. The bed itself was really comfortable so we slept brilliantly. We spent half of our stay relaxing by the infinity pool with a few drinks from the bar. It was really clean & the garden around it is very well maintained: beautiful foliage helped us feel cooler even in 36 degree heat! Clean beach towels available when we wanted them too! Muzo & his team could not do enough for us during our stay. It was too hot to walk up and down to the village (only 10 mins walk away but down a steep hill) & they happily provided a taxi service for us both ways, whenever we needed it. He arranged everything for us: transport to & from Dalaman airport, a boat trip round the coast, beach club & trip to Marmaris. We’ll definitely be back. Best holiday ever!! 10/10 "

The upstairs room that we booked was a little on the tight side, but it had a wonderful little balcony w table and chairs and a spectacular view. Plus, the pool area is so spectacular (really amazing) that most of our time was spent there. Breakfast was amazing, the dinner we had (2 times in 3 nights) really great, and the afternoon tea such a nice extra touch. This is a truly exceptional family run hotel that really maximizes your relaxation. (I mean, they even repark your car so it is easy to exit!)
