No complaints about the cleanliness and the location is perfect for exploring the island. Right up until the last day we would have considered returning. However, the incompetence and rudeness of reception staff put that very firmly out of our minds. On Friday evening I approached reception to enquire about a late check out on Sunday. A very pleasant member of staff advised me that there was no need to pay for an extension as this was free to longer term guests (2 weeks). We were very happy with this. On Saturday I returned again to reception just to confirm our departure time. We were advised that no such request had been made. And, to be honest were spoken to quite badly, although eventually the staff member did begrudgingly confirm. Today, whilst I was leisurely soaking in the bath, there was a hard angry banging on the door. My husband answered and was faced with another member of reception staff and ‘security’ demanding to know why we hadn’t check out. I felt like a criminal and we decided to get out as early as possible, leaving for the airport 5 hours before required. Won’t be back "

If you have family members that have difficulty climbing stairs, this villa might not be suitable for you. We thought we could use the single-occupancy room on the ground floor, but the room wasn't air-conditioned."

The pool was very clean and it was obviously well kept. The location was great -- lots of eateries within walking distance, 15 min drive to Georgetown, and 20 min drive to Batu Feringgi. There was a convenience store right in the apt complex so we could pick up drinks and snacks at odd hours.There was access to the beach and there was a good array of water sports offered (although I would not recommend swimming in Penang beaches). When we pointed this out, they said the option for 3 beds DO NOT exist. they have this option, We had to pull out our booking confirmation to show them the details and then they gave us the right room and said this booking doesn’t come with breakfast! We again had to do pull out the confirmation again to prove it. I find the front reception staff are super difficult to deal with and they have no smiles at all. We asked for extra towels because they only gave us one towel each, no smaller size one and they tried to charge us. Most hotels will give you extra towels, one big one small and would gladly give you extra. I have never had such bad experiences with hotels around the world as I did with this one. Google gave this hotel 4 star which is a joke! If you have no standards and you love the beach, then stay in this hotel! On the way to this hotel, even the local taxi driver told us this is NOT a friendly hotel!"

I told evrything to him and The Cs Staff really helpful. He said an agent will contact. And guess what?! Its Mike!!! Mike blamed me for not telling him i booked under Expedia. The heck! How should i know you got plenty platforms. He should ask me instead! We were so tired cuz been driving since morning from KL. Not even sorry from him and he is very defensive. Luckily i still patient and decided not to ask refund from Expedia. I decided to let go and just proceed with it eventhough our moods messed up. The rooms is okay except the sofa is smelly and floor a bit dirty. However Please fixed and update your contact number so others dont go through trouble like me. Not recommended! "
