Relax with your entire family at our custom remodeled home on Lake Claiborne! Meticulously crafted by a custom home builder with all 4 seasons in mind. 2 master suites & 2 bunk rooms for a total of 18 beds (sleeps 24). Our lakeside home has all the amenities, including: private boat launch and fishing piers, private trail bridge, large fire pit, hot tub, picnic pavilion, ping pong table, kayaks, paddle boards and enjoy your favorite ballgames on the outdoor tv on our 80’ back porch!

On a cul-de-sac at the end of the road, Cypress Edge has a unique look. Cypress wood with `live edge` surrounds our spacious Lakehouse. Two master suites with private bathrooms that each boast a free standing tub as well as a walk in shower. Both master suites have doors to outside, with one having its own private porch. Two large bunk rooms that sleep 10 in each (2 doubles & 6 twins in each bunk room). Room for multiple families to join together for the perfect lake vacation! UPDATE: We have broken ground on our second rental, Cypress Bungalow, just next to Cypress Edge that will sleep 10-12. Rent them both or separate, depending on your family or group size. The Bungalow also has a fully covered RV pad with all hookups. No RV? Then park 3-4 vehicles in the 50’ by 16’ covered area. Can you say we have OPTIONS?! YES! Look for the new photos in the space labeled `Exterior 2` to see the proximity of the Bungalow to Cypress Edge. They are separated by the rock driveway down to the private boat launch (to be shared by both houses) on the water.

Guest have access to the main house and the grounds in front of it leading to the lake, as well as the wooded peninsula that our bridge leads to. Map of the property will be provided at the home for reference. The only areas not accessible are the two storage buildings, boat house, and the neighboring Cypress Bungalow of ours that rents separately from the house.

Be sure and take the challenge of kayaking or paddle boarding! These are located on the east side of the boat house. Nature has found a love for this property, as well, so we enjoy watching the deer, turkeys, squirrels, turtles and even a family of eagles that live in the treetops on our land. Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries began the annual drawdown to control the salvinia weed on July 29. There is always water in view of the house and we drag the kayaks to the water's edge to use them. It is also fun to walk in the lake bed once it is dry.

Come fish or relax at Eagle View Lake House on Kepler Lake. We are excited to share our hidden gem of a spot with guest that can come get away or bring the family. There is a nice concrete boat ramp and new fishing pier about a mile away at the Kepler Dam road. This property sits on an acre and a half and has its on fishing pier/covered boat slip and fish cleaning spot. It is a 3 bedroom/2 bath house has a huge game room with a multi-game table and card table as well. Completely renovated kitchen with new cabinets and new flooring and paint throughout most of the house. Their is a full laundry room with washer and dryer. The living room has a great view of the lake and there is plenty of room for the kids or pets to run around and play in the yard. There is a ramp up to the front porch and a small screened-in porch to keep the bugs out of the house while going in and out. A firepit area with beautiful string lights and adirondak chairs sits in front of the house toward the lake The house sits just off of a quiet parish road and makes a close loop that is great for walking or riding a bike. This lake is known for great Bream, Crappie, Catfish, and Bass fishing. A neighbor up the road caught an 11 pound bass not long ago! Mama D's Cafe, The General Store of Castor, Byrds convenience store and gas station, and a Family Dollar/Dollar Tree combo store in Castor (10 minutes away). A convenience/gas station/Bait store that also has a grill is 8 minutes away in Jamestown and a large Grocery Store and the Log Cabin Restaurant (15 minutes away) in Ringgold, LA has a great Seafood Buffett on Friday nights. The Bonnie and Clyde Memorial Marker is 10 minutes up the road and the River Boat Casinos of Bossier/Shreveport are around 50-55 minutes away. Ruston is a great city and it is a 15 minute Drive to Interstate-20 to head towards Ruston. We bought this property from a dear Neighbor after her passing and her dream was for people to enjoy this lake home as much as her husband and her did for years!
