We cycled to Bernkastel which is much busier than Traben. A very easy 20 km ride with lots of cafes along the way. Also, take the train to Koblenz. An pretty journey along the Moselle. Worth the €10 return journey. Just walk and discover the gardens and monuments along the Rhine. We will definitely return with friends."
