It was a private unit that looked out onto a beautiful garden with the mountains in the background with the hoses, cows and sheep, and the hens which popped in for a visit every now and then. A peaceful and beautiful setting. We used the pool as it gets very hot and appreciated the comfortable loungers around the pool. I will definitely recommend this lodge and a good stay for anywhere in the Tulbagh area. "
