- "Great view of the nightly Arti on the Ganges. Close to everything. Safe" - "A Jewel on the Ganges!!! Of all the places we could have picked to stay in Varanasi, this was the BEST! Right on the Ganges, we had a river view right above the main Ghat for ceremonies, dawn boat rides and sacred bathing. The delightful rooftop restaurant staff always served us with a warm smile and a touch to the heart. The all veg food was well prepared and delicious. There is an even higher rooftop, where I took my morning coffee and communed with the monkeys, did some yoga and watched the waterfront wake up. Be prepared for stairs to climb (preparing you for trekking in the Himalayas?) and you have to be prepared for close quarters. It was perfect for us--my husband even adjusted his morning workout to fit the space. This place is truly magical and right at the heart of the best and most sacred part of Varanasi!!"
