It is one of the best if not the best hotels in Canggu/Seminyak for this price point. There ls a decent spa in the complex as well, best massage we got in Canggu. We stayed at the Imperial Villa, which is as big as it looks. Very big pool compared to alternatives. Nice bathroom. Due to the burning of trash in the surrounding areas, this area gets very dirty. The outdoor areas had a lot of biting red ants. The doors don't close due to the construction, so you need to use mosquito coils to keep them out at night. We had no wifi until the cable company came and fixed it on the last day. We walked to Pepito market for groceries; taking the back lane is safer than the main road. The management team is very responsive on WhatsApp. Houskeeping was offered every other day. It's a great place to hang out and relax, far away for the busy tourist areas. "

The place overall was a bit grubby and even though it is advertised as daily housekeeping we only really had one clean, and that was after two nights. We had to ask for fresh towels on day 3 and the ones we got were musty. They said they would be back with more but never came. On day 4 we asked for the sheets to be changed and were told they do it after 3 days. When we pointed out that it had been three days they said “maybe tomorrow”. It never happened. The breakfast was nice but always 30-90 minutes late (so don’t make early plans!) and if you have a preference for a type of juice you have to tell them every day the day before or they will default back to whatever they have. The downstairs/master bathroom also has a nasty drain smell. We got used to it but if you are sensitive to smalls stay somewhere else. The location is great, as is the pool, but the service is poor. If you go in with low expectations you will probably have a good time but if you are a clean freak or are expecting high levels of service then stay away. "
