- "Our family stay here was very nice! Beware if you are driving yourself here the roads are rough and our google maps sent us in the wrong direction to a dead end. Luckily the host helped us get there on "Cangrejera Road" which is the actual road to get there. The house is about 30min away from the closest grocery stores and markets. The house itself was very big and had plenty of room for every one, all of the rooms have a/c in them which is nice. The living room and kitchen were also nice, you may want to take your own utensils, knives ect. since the ones that are there are not in the best shape. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor patio especially the kids. The beach has very big and strong waves so we were not able to get in the beach and enjoy it. That part was a bummer we were only able to put our feet in the water since the waves were so strong. The house is nice it could use some updates, but overall happy with our stay here."

The location is quiet with a little quiet bar just a few doors down that you can walk on the beach to get to. We used it a few times and we were the party for the most part since it wasn’t busy. (But we weren’t there during the weekend.) We were able to relax with 10 million dollar views and would return here in a heartbeat. Juan and Mayra are the caretakers and they are like family now. They are there when you need them, but we just welcomed them in. Such a wonderful experience! The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and air conditioned and the whole property is excellently maintained."

From this villa, you'll listen to the waves break in front of the oceanfront deck, and our infinity pool, and are just steps away from the waves. Its also just a short walk down the beach or the main street to all the vibrant food & beverage available in El Tunco! One of the best aspects of the Balancé property is that we are close enough to walk to all of the restaurants and bars in the area, but far enough away that any parties or loud music from bars will NEVER disturb a perfect night of rest. Unlike the other hotels in the area, from our property you hear the sound of waves crashing at night, not loud music from bars!!

It takes about 3-4 minutes to walk to anything in town. You can walk via the beach or the main street, which is well lit, secure, and safe to walk at night.

We stayed in each of the apartments and they were both very comfortable, clean and modern. You have all the furnishings you would find in a new apartment, tv, stereo & AC. Adrian can connect you with him and he cooks some really amazing meals! (Recommended). There are also tonnes of great restaurants minutes walk away and the welcome book has them all listed out. He had my wife going from 1-2ft waves to carving 5-6ft waves in a week! He taught her how to read the ocean and position herself so she could pop right up and rip! The nicest guy in El Tunco! In need of a driver? that also takes surf photos...Adrian can connect you with that too, he goes by the nickname Gorilla and knows all the secret surf spots and will take great photos of you ripping, (Recommended). The local people are so friendly and we didn't feel in danger once! Don't believe what the western media tells you about El Salvador! El Santuario comes with an amazing staff that will cook all you meals and clean . We also have a beautifully manicured grass area for outdoor games or hosting small weddings. A 4x4 is needed to reach the house.

Guest Access:
Like most beach properties in El Salvador, our property is accessed via a 3-mile gravel road, which is safe for most vehicles, though it may be bumpy. No 4WD is required, and guests regularly navigate it with ease.

- "The property is amazing. Esmeralda and Jonathan are extremely caring people. They took care of all of our needs. Only complaint was the road to the property (approximately 2 miles of unpaved road)." - "The house is huge and very comfortable for our group of 10 people. I was thrilled to have hot showers! No other place I looked at had that. Each bathroom also had a jug of filtered water for brushing teeth, which was very thoughtful. Johnathan was super helpful and Esmeralda's cooking was delicious. They were always available even when we arrived very late at night or had a very early excursion. We spent most days in the pool. The beach was nice but many days the waves were too big for my liking for swimming. Still I enjoyed relaxing on the hammock, reading a book, and listening to the waves. The only minor inconvenience was the bumpy dirt road leading to the house but you get used to it and its a safe neighborhood. "

Guest access
You will have access to the entire house. Full Master bedroom, two full bath, Air conditioning is available throughout the house, 55in T.V. Fully equip kitchen with fridge, and basic utensils needed to cook a meal. Additionally, you have your own recently remodel private pool.

CHECK IN is always at 2:00pm
CHECK OUT is al always at 12:00 pm

New POOL:
The usage of the pool is at your own risk and Children must be supervised by an adult. Both are available to guests 24hr a day unless they are being cleaned and disinfected.

Keep in mind the ocean can be strong, especially at high tide. Please use extreme caution if you are unfamiliar with ocean swimming.
