(Dive Wishes) I did my certification and my wife did the refresher course with some fun dives. It's the best way to dive on Koh Tao. Transportation is all booked and made easy and the boat/group size is small (if not private) so it's not overcrowded and you feel super safe. Robin the scuba instructor was just a pleasure - Made diving an even more wonderful experience! He's super personable, knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable right away. We were so lucky that the owners of the villas were in town :) Bjorn and Madeleine are just the sweetest people! We were lucky enough to go out on the town with them one night and had a BLAST! Honestly felt like we were with our chosen family in the most beautiful place in the world. It was so hard to leave. We will come back soon."

The panoramic sea views from Top of the Rock Villa are breathtaking! The height and circular design gives a 270 degree vista allowing guests to lazily watch dive boats around Shark Island, snorkelers in Aow Leuk Bay and day-trippers on long-tail boats. Allowing guests to enjoy breakfast sunrises and cocktails at sunset. At night the view allows you to watch the lantern lights of the fishing boats stretching to the horizon.

As well as offering absolute privacy and serenity, our villa boasts all the modern amenities needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. These include swimming pool, Wi-Fi, TV with Amazon Firestick and . We have a house telescope but it is also a great idea to bring your own binoculars to really appreciate the nature around you.

Measuring approximately 400m2 there is plenty of living space to relax and chill. Including a large outdoor dining area, sun terraces and two indoor living spaces complete with comfy sofas. There are three separate dining areas for dining privacy. Complimented by airy interiors with modern décor fitting neatly with the contemporary architecture.

Due to the elevated position of the property with it's high ceilings, granite core structure, open-plan design and large floor-to-ceiling windows there is an almost-constant breeze passing through which is perfect at keeping the villa cool and comfortable in the hottest of days. Or take a dip in the pool. The villa doesn't have air conditioning. Due to it's design, fans are more than adequate at keeping the place cool. But if it is a freezing chilled AC environment you wish for then this may not be for you.

Top of the Rock comes with a fully equipped kitchen that includes a 4-burner gas hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, air-fryer and cooking utensils. However, if you are one of those people that doesn't wish to do any cooking whilst you are on holiday there are numerous delivery menus provided so you can order from a large variety of different foods delivered to your door, from 06:30 to 22:00.
We also provide tea, coffee, milk, sugar and drinking water free of charge.

It is a 3-bedroomed villa that sleeps up to 8 people. Bedroom one and two both have king-size beds, and bedroom three is queen-size. Bedroom one is en-suite. With a large and uniquely tropical ground floor bathroom servicing bedrooms two and three. There is no need for air-conditioning as all the beds have dual fans (wall mounted & floor). The kitchen and all living spaces have wall/ceiling fans. Every room from kitchen to toilet have stunning sea views.

NB At maximum capacity, 2 of the 8 guests would be sleeping on a large European-made sofa-bed in the upstairs living area which is fitted with blackout curtains and a flat screen TV.

Housekeeping is provided every other day, including fresh bedding and towels. We will regularly clean the swimming pool, re-supply drinking water and remove rubbish. We supply all guests with bath towels, pool towels and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel.

We will be there to personally greet you at the villa upon arrival and will provide you with a full orientation of the property and the island. We strongly suggest buying a Thai SIM card for your phone to allow constant internet/communication access. We are available throughout your stay and (24 hours in emergencies).


An extensive welcome pack is provided to all guests which includes many helpful telephone numbers, hints and recommendations of where to go and what to do on Koh Tao. Most importantly it includes many delivery menus (free delivery), meaning you don't have to leave the villa to sample the island's fantastic cuisine. We are happy to make any activity bookings for you on your behalf. Examples of these include; speed boat charters, sea fishing, snorkeling, wake-boarding, cliff-jumping, rock climbing, cooking classes, underwater photography/filming, scuba diving, free diving and Muay Thai training.

Top of the Rock Villa is located 5 minutes taxi ride to Mae Haad, and 10 minutes to Sairee. It’s closest beaches are Aow Leuk and Tanote Bay which are two of the island’s best snorkeling spots. On the property’s land you can access jungle hiking. Walk out the front door and it’s 100m to one of the island’s favorite view-points.

This is a great place to stay if you wish to be away from the 'backpacker' scene and the noise of the beach bars. Perfect for groups of friends or families wanting to spend quality time together.

Road access to the villa is easily reached by taxi (and scooter). As Koh Tao is such a small island (only 21 square km in size!) it never takes long to get to where you want to go.

If you choose to travel by taxi, you can contact Mr. Bear Taxis in order to arrange any journeys. We have managed to negotiate the rates below with him. The prices are at the lowest level which means no haggling with taxi owners over the price. This can be a problem here sometimes.

Many people prefer to get around Koh Tao by motorbike as it is the cheapest way to explore our beautiful island and gives you the freedom to go wherever you wish, whenever you wish to. However, we strongly recommend that you only rent a bike if you are confident driving one and you have driven before. Koh Tao roads can sometimes be a challenge! If you still wish to rent a bike, we can provide you with the number of a trustworthy rental shop that charges from 300THB per day, including helmets. Motorbikes can be delivered/collected from the villa by the rental shop at no extra cost. Please ask for our advice before renting.

Due to the position of the property, it is not suitable for the elderly or anybody with walking difficulties. We also wouldn’t recommend staying with small children. Due to the villa's elevated position you can survey the entire south end of the island which includes the refuse point for the area. However, this is along with the all the surrounding islands/ocean/lush jungle/coconut palms/beaches. When we say you see everything, we mean everything!
There is an occasional jungle party in the lower part of our valley. It is a good party to visit but it can be loud and late (we provide ear plugs for those with more sensitive ears).

A quiet village with beautiful beaches. Everything you need can be found here, restaurants, shops, grocery stores. Long tail taxi boat can easily be rented! The main harbor is located here, and it can get busy when the ferries arrives and departs. North of Mae Haad, you will find the village Sairee and Chaolok to the south.

Coral House is located on Mae Haad hillside, right above the port. The villa was built in 2014, and is ideal for 4 to 6 people. Great view and quiet surroundings!

Only small comment would be the state of the towels, they were so old or microfibre towels, it would have been lovely to have hotel quality towels to match the place, Koh Tao was also selling towels everywhere so it would be an easy thing to change. Gecco Pool Villa is situated 35 meters high up on a cliff with panoramic view over the sea and will treat you with wonderful sunsets. This exclusive villa is built with white concrete walls, thatched roofs and large glass openings towards the sea.

The Gecco Pool villa is perfect for families with small children since there is a connecting door between the bedrooms on deck floor as well as on the lower floor. Also for teenagers that like to stay on their own (downstairs).

Gecco Villa comes with four double bedrooms on two levels, bedrooms 1 and 2 with ensuite bathrooms, the ones on lower floor share a bathroom. All rooms come with comfortable king size beds, one of the bedrooms also with a sofa in front of the large 50″TV. On the lower floor one of the bedrooms has built in natural stones, which makes the room very special. There is a kitchen for smaller cooking with tableware for 8 persons, the kitchen is part of bedroom 1. In the outside sand stone deck area you will find a large round teak dining table and a rattan sofa group under roof as well as sun beds by the 6 x 2,5 m infinity pool. There is also an outdoor shower that can be used before and after swimming in the pool. Here you can relax day and evening. The villa has a size of 185 sqm inside and outside.

Gecco pool villa is personally decorated with carefully selected items in thai style in order to give a good, peaceful and relaxed feeling.

On the lower floor in Turtle Villa there is a separate part which has a massage room with two massage beds that can be used by guests staying in both Turtle and Gecco Villas.

There are two common bathing piers by the sea in the area. This is also one of the best places on the island with a chance to see both black tip reef sharks (harmless) and turtles.

If you are 2 persons your will have access to 1 bedroom, 3-4 persons you get 2 bedrooms, 5-6 persons you get 3 bedrooms and 7-8 persons you get 4 bedrooms. The bedrooms not used will be locked. You will have the property to yourselves.

Free pick up at Koh Tao Pier on arrival and departure. Please let us know of arrival time, from where you are traveling and ferry company minimum 3 days before arrival.

Our housekeepers will make your beds and clean the house every day. Except for this it´s a self-catering household.

Our community consists of around 20 private villas. Our guests come here to relax and take it easy with friends and family and therefore the community has rules. We do not accept loud music or parties or any other disturbances that may affect your neighbors. Please keep the volume of noise low, especially after 10 pm. Don´t misunderstand us, we want you to enjoy yourselves but in a respectful way like in any other hotel area.

If you are more persons at check in than you have booked for, you will not be able to check in. No persons except for those registered are allowed in the villa.

The "Bougainvillea" villa has two main, air-con (and fan) bedrooms, each with the best quality full size bed, 42" flatscreen HDTV with premium Western programming by satellite, & ADSL Wi-Fi internet access... There is a big (fan only) loft, accessible by a ladder, that has two extra mattresses for additional guests to sleep, if needed. There is an award winning private, infinity edge plunge/swimming pool, with a water fall and colored lights at night... There is a small kitchen with fridge, cook top, and utensils (like a blender, pots and pans, cups, plates, cutlery, etc...). There is also a little private yard with a pic-nic table.
