Plenty of stairs around the resort which can be a challenge if you have mobility issues but there is no other option for the hotel plus you get plenty of exercise which is good as the resort restaurant serves delicious meals at very reasonable prices. There is also a mini mart where you can buy essentials. You do not even have to leave the resort as the snorkeling is right of the beach which is not too busy. Go behind the hotel up a short steep hill takes you to a road with hundreds of shops and restaurants as well as a very long and sandy beach. Really a great area. The young 20 somethings will want to stay or party at the south end of Sairee beach and the older you are the further north along the beach is the best area."

Also, breakfast in the cafe opposite was mediocre - mainly the quality of the food - choice was reasonable but the orange juice was too diluted, the bacon and sausage was not to my taste and the croissants soggy. There were other things so you could find enough to keep yopu going. We had an upgraded room overlooking the beach both ways. The room was spacious and bed huge and comfy - no complaints. Overall - would fully recommend."
