She didn’t smile, wasn’t welcoming, and seemed annoyed when I asked for information about the nearby national park. The rest of the staff were great and professional. The restaurant food was excellent, though service and tax are added to the bill. Breakfast is not a buffet, you must order from the menu. Overall, a lovely place to escape the city, but the reception staff’s attitude leaves a bad impression."

- "Located just down a side road next to the larger Dolphin Bay, Long Beach Inn is an 11 room property with a nice pool area. Breakfasts are included snd they also offer lunch/dinner and room service. Bram, the owner, is very pleasant and will offer to take you to the shops, or the local bus stop, which are about 20 min drive away. We were there just after rainy season so many places to eat were still closed or only open weekends, but quiet didnt bother us. Rooms are spacious, beds are large and the showers had good water pressure Would stay again"

- "First, we have to postpone our booking because of a dead in our circle of friends and the resort accept to use the booking a week later - thank you for that! All facilities were under a good condition. This has valid also for the swimmingpool and the property at all. Also the breakfast (what was served in a restaurant approx. 800m away from the resort) was OK! But, if you would like to have changes or additionals you have to pay extra. The coffee they served was absolut terrible. Bitter!!! Several hours heated I think - really a bad quality. Cleanliness - hmmm...a full hand of hair from the last renter we found on the floor when we checked in. Cockroach and big ants we found also on our bed - and sorry we killed them. Good is, everything we complained here is something the management could change for better without any invest. "

- "We chose Baan Golden because we had children and couldn't get enough rooms at other resorts. Here we got two, two bedroom bungalows. The beds were generally too hard for western tastes and our rooms never got serviced. Each day we had to ask for our bottles of water and toilet paper. The pool was green when we arrived but they put that right by the following day. A good thing was the charcoal BBQ you could take to your bungalows and roast up a stack of food. We did that two nights! It wasn't horrible but I won't stay there again unless it really is my ONLY option."
