There was nothing to do in the neighborhood. No public transportation at all. In our room there was a description of their pool(s) that they had a second pool on the beach front. - "The hotel has a great location but the beach is eating up the ground and due to this they built concrete sections. You can still swim and hotel got a seating area with shadow.. The room we stayed in, facing mountain, was ok but yiu can see that maintenance isn't a priority and not super clean. Too few electric sockets and none near bed. They provide an extender but had to disconnect the fridge to use it. Luckily we brought our own. Besides the owner, who was very friendly, staff a bit reserved initially but a few opened up up bit during our stay. Hotel got three dogs that are hermless and friendly but the area got some that wont let you walk or go jogging in peace. ->One thing that was really negative was the cleaning during breakfast. Swiping the floor from dog hair and sand when people eating in the morning breeze wasn't nice. Breakfast is pork rice soup, egg, fried dough(Patongko), instant coffee, milo, tea, toast w butter and marmalade. Overall a ok stay and cost for the location."

- "The location of this hotel is ideal if wanting to travel to or from Chumphon train station (you can also book bus and boat tickets near the station), however, the hotel doesn't have much else going for it. It is a large, old fashioned, grubby hotel that looks like it hasn't been looked after since the 80's. The halls reminded us of the prison cells you see in the movies! The receptionist wasn't aware of our online booking and offered the room to us a lot cheaper before we told her we had already, annoyingly, paid upfront. There was damp evident on the walls in our room and the bathroom door was rotting away. Our cleaning lady was lovely, although not actually sure what she cleans? The bed, surprisingly, was very comfortable and bottled water is provided daily. There are a few other hotels in the area, not sure if any better, but certainly worth investigating beforehand!"

- "This hotel tries so, so hard to please the customers. It's a family hotel. We're there for the airport. They brought us a breakfast. It costs 150 Bahts per person to the airport. I forgot the return the key and left by a store in the airport. Communication through Expedia app is convenient. " - "I arrived in late afternoon and found that I'd booked the wrong sized room, way to big for me. The staff were lovely and sorted it out in minutes. So really nice staff on site, friendly and helpful. The resort is directly opposite a seafood restaurant which I didn't rate, the food wasn't good. However there are a number of restaurants close by. The beach across the road is fabulous, enormous sandy beaches stretching into the distance with no one on them. The room itself was adequate. Basic with air conditioning, the bed quite comfortable and the pillows okay. There was a water heater flask for tea, but there were no tea bags. Luckily I'd brought my own. The lady on reception went and bought me some milk. I did ask if the shower was hot and was told it was but it was cold when i used it. I'm sure if I'd asked it would habe been sorted. I only stayed one night so it was fine. The breakfast was interesting with two jam sandwiches, a bit of scrambled egg and what I call a plastic sausage. Typical for many hotels in this part of the world. So all in all I'd describe the resort as adequate but the staff exceptional."
