- "The apartment was exactly as described and photographed here on the website. It was just the right size for the 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids, aged 6 and 8, who could share the second bedroom. The aircon in the bedrooms was very useful to help everyone settle down at night after the heat of the day. Our apartment had 2 little balconies, one that overlooked Etna and the other out to sea, which allowed for a lovely breeze through the apartment. The pool in the garden was a good size and made for some relaxing days when we just wanted to spend the morning, or afternoon after exploring somewhere, and wanted to come back and cool off. With the garden being gated to the road we never had any concerns about the children wandering out near the road. The location of the apartment near to Santa Tecla and Acireale just don the road meant it was easy to explore up and down the East Coast. Giardini Naxos was only about 40 mins away and we made it to Noto in about an hour or so. Access up Etna was also easy from there to check out the vineyards (we went to Cantine Nicosia which did a nice tour and tasting), or up to the base station of the cable car further up Etna to see the dormant craters. During our stay Elvira and Carla looked after us really well and Carla was kind enough to research some vineyards for us and was always offering nice recommendations. We would highly recommend coming here, and would love to go back on another holiday. We are missing the blue sky and the views of the sea...."

Gelato place in harbour of Stazzo had good gelato. Bring bug spray if you’re sensitive to mosquitoes as there are some after dark. Hi there, here my apartment. 160 walking distance by the sea, the one that you see on the pictures. The flat is new and I like to keep it comfortable and clean with as much services as possible.

The place is situated in Stazzo, a little village pretty close to Acireale, where you can find a railway station or bus station from where to get mostly any place all around Italy and Sicily.

Because in the middle of the east cost of Sicily the the apartment is pretty close to mostly the main city, the farest one is Palermo 3,5 hours by car, in the other coast of the island, but in less than an hour you may find: Taormina and Catania; 1,5 hour Siracura, Ragusa and Noto. Beach and montain (the active volcano, Etna, is 50 minutes far by car) are close and I really suggest you to visit.

Lovely, bright and fully furnished apartment in the city centre of Acireale.
The apartment is located in a residential area with the possibility of parking the car within the area. It comprises two bedrooms, livingroom with sofabed, kitchen, bathroom and balcony.
All the main shops such as drug store, market and so on, are around the neighborhood.
A famous naturalistic path, "Le chiazzette", guides you on a walk of 40mins to the stone beach in the town of "Santa Maria la Scala".

The space
"La casa di Mami" is found in the heart of Acireale, halfway the Dome and the sea.
Being it located in the centre of the city, one can view Acireale's Carneval right from the appartment's balcony.

The accommodation has been conceived as a comfortable resting place for easy-going tourists looking for a welcoming&cosy place where to relax while visiting our beautiful island!
The rooms are part of the three-floor villa where I live with my family. One of the bedrooms overlooks the garden and has a beautiful view over the sea, from which it's possible to see the dawn at morning.
Pool&relaxing area in the warm seasons, Wifi, free parking inside.

The space
The style of the room is modern, neat and functional. The room has been recently renovated.

Guest access
Guests have access to the villa, their room, with private bathroom and private terrace. They will be provided with a full set of keys at arrival.
Bed linens and towels are included.

During your stay
During your stay, I will be available for any information or advise, otherwise we'll see at key delivery and departure.
It is possible to self-check in and/or check-out.
I can give advise on trips to Mount Etna, Catania, Taormina, Syracyse, and Agrigento, organise shuttle services and give advice as to restaurants and cafés.
In addition, on request, it is possible to arrange transport from/to the airport.

Other things to note
In the close-by towns it's possible to find restaurants, pizzerias, cafés and supermarkets very easily.
