- "The town was lovely." - " Our first bad experience with VRBO, so it had to be a memorable one. Arrived at 5 pm (check-in is late, but check-out still at 11) and realized I had no instructions. The host’s UK number went straight to voicemail. Called a local number but they only spoke French. Usually, language barriers are part of the charm, but not when you’re stuck outside your rental that claims "Host Language: English." Luckily, we had a French-speaking friend back home who helped. The unit felt like one of those corporate rentals, not a “real” home. If so, this company was terribly unorganized—definitely not “Premier Host” material. WiFi didn’t work on Apple devices, and heating was a no-go. We messaged the host and local contact but got no response. On night two, the door codes were changed, locking us out again. After a stressful call with the local contact, we got a new code—just in time for my wife to avoid using a defibrillator. The location was decent, though the street wasn’t pristine. You could enjoy the view of an abandoned Heineken bottle from the absurd two-person tub. The apartment had steep stairs, not ideal after a wine-tasting day, especially with no en-suite. The kitchen? Miserable. Just a paring knife, a skillet, a small bowl, and few utensils. No dishwasher, no paper towels, and “Outdoor Space” and “Barbecue grill” mentioned in the listing were nowhere to be found. Awful."

The space
Located on the floor of a newly renovated building, our air-conditioned accommodation for 2 people has a queen bed 160x200, an en-suite bathroom equipped with a balneo bathtub, shower and sauna cabin, a small functional kitchen as well as a seating area, TV and free wifi.
Check-in is self check-in using codes that will be communicated to you on the day of your arrival. Rest assured that you don't have to think about the keys during your visit to Chablis. 😉 Linens and cleaning fees are included.

The entrance to the building is shared with the additional accommodation located on the ground floor, a studio for 2 people of 29m2 also equipped with a private spa: "Chablis Spa • Balnéo + Cabin Hammam". Each home has its own secure lock.

Rue Paul Poirin is a quiet street perpendicular to the main street of Chablis (Rue Auxerroise). Access within a 10-minute walk to many shops (Boutique Laroche, Chablis Wine Not, La Maison de l 'Andouillette, Boulangerie Le Pilier de Chablis), free public parking (Saint-Martin), the cooperative winery "La Chablisienne", the Church of Saint Martin de Chablis, the Obédiencerie de Chablis, etc.

Alone, with two, three or four, be at the forefront at events such as “La Fête des Vins de Chablis” or “Le Marathon de Chablis”.

Their 50 hectares of vines are primarily planted with Chardonnay, covering the Bourgogne and Chablis appellations. They also cultivate Sauvignon (AOC Saint-Bris), Pinot Noir (AOC Irancy), as well as the rare grape varieties Aligoté, Sacy, and César.

With a deep attachment to their family roots, they are building a new estate with a spirit of freedom. Céline and Frédéric are writing their own chapter in the history of wine.

Wine tourism is their strength, offering a variety of activities:
