The accommodation was on a hill with beautiful sunset views. It was spacious and clean and contained a BBQ and kitchen which made cooking in very easy. I highly recommend booking these little apartments for a couples getaway. We could also use the commone resort pools at Catseye Beach which was very refreshing. - "We loved Anchorage 14. Big 2 bedroom apartment with large living space and litchen upstairs. Balcony off living area was large and nice view of the Marina. Having a buggy is a must as the apartment is a good few hills away from Catseye beach and marina. The apartment comes with a buggy. The apartment has a small communal pool which is nice but could do with a couple of chairs or lounges down there. The area around the apartment is quiet and beautiful with lots of wildlife and greenery. We have stayed on the island before and this was our favourite rental."

Compliance with terms: You agree to comply with the terms of rental herein and any other terms reasonably made from time to time and notified to you. You are responsible to ensure that all members of your party, as well as any visitors to the Property, observe these terms.

Holiday Rental Agreement (Terms & Conditions)

Your agreement is with Whitsunday74 (“we”, “us” and “our” in these Terms and Conditions) for the property known as (refer to booking confirmation) References to “you” or “your” are references to the person making the booking and all members of the holiday group staying at the Property (refer to booking confirmation).

These Terms and Conditions form the basis of your agreement with us so please read them carefully. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your normal statutory rights under Australian law.

1. Making your booking:

When you book property (refer to booking confirmation) through our bookings platforms, you will need to return to us this Holiday Rental Agreement signed, Booking Form completed and signed, Drivers Licence copy uploaded along with your Deposit Payment to secure your dates.

If you have been quoted for and have indicated the number of persons staying in your party, please note that any extra persons, including any children, who stay at the Property, will incur an extra fee and charge if they were not included in the original requested quote. If you exceed the maximum number of persons staying on the Property, we reserve the right to retain your Bond Payment in full and this Agreement may be terminated without refund. A guest list may be required to be sent to Whitsunday74, 14 days prior to your stay, required for fire safety reasons and insurances purposes.

When the completed Booking Form and Deposit have been received and accepted by us, we will issue and email confirmation and money receipt. Any binding agreement between us will only be formed when we send you our email confirmation and it is subject to the Terms and Conditions of this agreement. We reserve the right to refuse any booking prior to the issue of our email confirmation. If we do this, we will promptly refund any money you have paid to us. If you breach any of these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain the deposit.

You should carefully check the details of our email confirmation and inform us immediately of any errors or omissions.

Your booking is made as a holiday rental tenant for the purpose of a holiday, and you acknowledge that no liability can be accepted for any business or other losses howsoever suffered or incurred by you.

2. Booking and Payment

Deposit

A deposit equivalent to 20% of the total booking value is required at time of booking.

This deposit is refundable up until 36 days prior to arrival date.

Full payment is required at the time of booking if travel is within 21 days of arrival date

Bookings made via the website direct incur a 1.25% surcharge for Visa, MasterCard, Union Pay, JCB and AMEX. Credit/debit card transaction fees apply and are non-refundable

Final Balance

The final balance payment of your accommodation is required no later than 21 days prior to arrival date

Final balance payments are automatically processed on the nominated credit card provided at the time of booking.

Final balance payments not received by 21 days prior to arrival date may result in cancellation of the reservation.

3. Cancellation and Amendments

Cancellations and amendments received outside 36 days of arrival date will not incur a cancellation fee

Cancellations and amendments received within 28-21 days of arrival date will be subject to a cancellation fee of 20% of the total booking value.

Cancellations and amendments received within 21 days of arrival date, ‘No Shows’ and/or ‘Early Departures’ will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking value.

Notice of any cancellation, amendment or reduction in reserved rooms must be provided in writing to Whitsunday74 on admin@whitsunday74.com.au

Credit/debit card transaction fees apply and are non-refundable

If you cannot uphold your stay date, you may transfer your accommodation to another group coordinator/group. In the instance of transferring to other persons, we will need another Booking Form and Rental Agreement acknowledgement in their name completed and returned to us along with photo identification for us to approve before accepting.

4. If we cancel or amend your booking:

We would not expect to have to make any changes to your booking, but sometimes problems occur and we do have to make alterations or, very occasionally cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control.

If this does happen, we will contact you as soon as is reasonably practical and inform you of the cancellation or the change to your booking and, if it is necessary to cancel your booking, we will refund any monies paid to us.

5. Your accommodation:

You can arrive at your accommodation after the Check in time on the Arrival Date of your holiday and you must leave by the Check out time on the Departure Date, unless arranged otherwise with owner.

Frangipani 8 is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on the GROUND FLOOR and DIRECTLY OPPOSITE THE BEACH! Ideal location for your Hamilton Island holiday, especially for families for the ground floor position. It is also the end apartment and closest to the pool!

A bright and spacious apartment. Lots of room to accommodate up to 6 plus a baby! Sought after location and a perfect choice for your beachfront Hamilton Island accommodation. A short stroll across to the beach and to the resort area. The complimentary buggy makes getting around Hamilton Island fun and easy!

This self contained retreat is downstairs from our family home. It has it's own private entrance and is surrounded by tropical gardens. You will love the tranquility of this location, yet it is only a 10 minute walk to Catseye Beach. The perfect getaway for a young couple or small family.

The space
The retreat has a separate bedroom with a loft overlooking the room. The main area has great natural air flow with stylish western red cedar louvres throughout which keeps the place cool in our tropical summers.
Melaleuca Drive is a quiet street only a 2 minute walk to the iconic All Saints Chapel, perfect for wedding guests!
You can walk to the Marina and the Resort Centre from our place in 10-15 minutes. There is a steep hill which may not suit guests with mobility issues.
The island has free buses which can drop you only a 7 minute walk away.
Alternately, you can also hire an electric golf buggy from the Resort Buggy Hire.

Guest access
Guests have access to all the main resort pools, beach hire, tour options and restaurants on Hamilton Island. We love to provide recommendations if you need any ideas on how to spend your time. Please download the Hamilton Island App which provides information on the many tours and restaurants and allows you to pre-book prior to arriving on island.

Other things to note
We are a busy family with children attending school on the mainland, so we have early mornings starts during school terms. Our tropical garden is a work in progress so we will be accessing the garden space.
We also have a friendly dog who loves to roll on the grass at the retreat, so be prepared to enjoy cuteness plus!
Our place is perfect for visitors with a keen interest in bird watching as there is a roosting area across the street where the Sulphur Crested Cockatoos and other birds group at night. Please note they are very noisy at sunrise!

The Hamilton Island App, which can be downloaded through the app store on your smartphone , is a handy pocket-guide to everything there is to see and do. Restaurants, buggies and activities are in high demand so it's important that you plan and book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Hamilton Island has an IGA supermarket for all of your grocery needs. There is a bottle shop conveniently located next door.

As all our accommodations are self-contained, daily housekeeping services are not provided. However, each unit is equipped with essential items to cover your needs on the first couple of nights, such as toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, and, if applicable, washing powder for laundry facilities. Additional supplies may be required for the duration of your stay.

Lagoon 204A is a top floor studio apartment with stunning views on the Beach side of Hamilton Island. It's an ideal choice for 1 or 2 people wanting the flexibility of a self contained apartment which also includes the use of a golf buggy. A private balcony with an outdoor setting and BBQ boasts a spectacular view.

Please note this apartment does not allow for an infant or child and is adults only 1-2 people.

The space
The apartment is fully self-contained, air-conditioned and includes a king size bed, beautifully polished floor boards, a stainless steel kitchenette, laundry, a large indoor corner spa, a 42” plasma TV, a Bose Stereo System, a flat TV in the bathroom to watch a DVD or cable TV and a docking station for IPod/IPhones. To get around the island with ease, you are provided with the exclusive use of a complimentary buggy.Upon your arrival at the airport or ferry terminal ,you will be met by a private valet and then taken on a short drive straight to the apartment. This service is also provided for your return.

You will also have access to all the resort facilities, including water sports* and the Kids Clownfish Club*. There are also baby-sitting services available through the Clownfish Club. (*charges apply)

Hamilton Island offers many restaurants and a popular Tavern.Also you can choose from a wide range of take away options including Popeyes Fish and Chips, the Bakery and the new Pizzeria / Gelato bar to name a few.There is an IGA supermarket which has a vast array of groceries and fresh produce including local seafood all at competitive prices plus the IGA Liquor store.Most credit cards are accepted and there are several ATMs around the island. EFTPOS facilities are also available.
