We spoke to the owner who told us that there were other units in the complex which were a complete unit, which were not available at the time as they were not clean. A family holiday spoilt as we could either be one floor or the other and go between the two spaces through freezing cold outdoors. This was not specified either on website or by wotif."

THE SWIMMING POOL COMPLEX IS DUE TO OPEN JULY 2025. WE ARE VERY EXCITED AS THE POOL HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR OVER A YEAR AND HAS UNDERGONE EXTENSIVE REFURBISHMENT. Located along the iconic Great Ocean Road within the Cumberland Resort in Lorne, A107 is a non smoking, self contained, pet friendly and wheelchair friendly two bedroom apartment with discrete mobility friendly aids throughout. It is ideal for families with small children as well as those who require some extra assistance. With an amazing large balcony which looks over Louttit Bay, you can relax and enjoy brekkie, coffee or a drink at the end of the day while watching the world go by.
Guests are welcome to use all of the resorts facilities, indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, tennis and squash courts, games room, gardens and BBQ area. All of Lorne’s attractions are only a short walk, Main Beach, shops, restaurants, bars and cafes.
The apartment is close to a golf course and on the waterfront. The Mystics Keep is a gorgeous two-room studio apartment, tucked away in the tranquil Bellbrae hinterland. It is equipped with all the modern conveniences to make your stay the perfect one.
A breakfast basket that includes our farm fresh eggs, bacon, Zeally Bay bread fresh fruit, juice and condiments is also available on request @ $25 per person.
This brand new studio is fully self contained with a spacious living and dining area and a queen size bed. Additionally there is a double fold out sofa bed if required.
The grounds are amazing, the hens are friendly and the native wildlife (yes kangaroos) is abundant.

Before we get started, I want you to know I do not have internet no matter if you look at Stayz or Vrbo or Homeaway. Its a glitch in the site!
Goose Crossing has been accommodating people and dogs since the early 90's. We choose to take dogs because we love them ourselves. Goose Crossing is a small studio (4.5 x 3.5 meters) only for single or two people and maximum two very small dogs or one medium dog. You must disclose that you have a dog coming with you.
The studio is in the village of Lorne situated in a quiet garden setting where a few parrots and roos can get quite friendly. The deck (4.5 × 3.5 meters) along a small pocket of garden are fenced together for your dog. Fencing is 4 foot high. . Even though the studio is small it has all your conveniences... a small kitchenette, heating/air conditioning, queen bed, TV, DVD, (no internet) and a BBQ and deck furniture. The main street and foreshore of the town is only a 15-minute walk down the hill. We have a great dog beach which is 24/7 all year round.. Our studio is built with second hand materials and furnished in a similar way. Modern we are not! Check in and check out times are fairly flexible. Generally, we say 1 pm check in and check out 10:00. Times can go either way, depending on the comings/goings of other guest. Goose Crossing is a perfect getaway for you and your dog for a short stay(and not breaking the bank).
There are an assortment of rules for your dog, but they are reasonable.
1. Not on furniture
2. Pick up all doggie poos and dispose of in garbage bins outside
3 .Dogs allowed inside but not left alone inside if going out.
4.. Dogs must have a toilet break before they come in the studio for the first time. (Dogs do like to leave their mark on new places even well-trained dogs)
6. You MUST disclose you have a dog/s and what breed. If not, I can refuse to rent to you.
People rules:
1. Air-conditioned/heating appliance is not to be left on when you have left the premises. It only takes a few minutes to heat or cool this studio..
2. Please don't leave the outside light on all night. It shines into the neighbour's windows.
3. I do not have charging facilities for cars. Call the Lorne Info Center for this information, Ph 5289115
4. Please do not leave your electric appliances charging when you go out and about away from the studio and also all night when you are sleeping.
5. We are a 'no party' policy (big or small)
Directions: Turn right on to Williams Street off the Great Ocean Road known as Mt. Joy Parade. Driving up Williams, take your 3rd left. (at the top of the hill) Drive about 60 feet (18.29 metres) and take your first right, which is Babington Lane and a 'no through road'. This short road (at the end) will take you veering slightly left to face a building where you cannot go any farther. Park on the right of the building facing you. The studio will be at the back right corner of the building, with a sign saying 'Goose Crossing' and steps leading up on to the deck. Come in and make yourselves at home (it will be open for you) and we will catch up to you at some stage.

The bright, spacious family room is the perfect place to kick back and relax, with a comfortable leather couch, a Queen size bed and dining table.
The Kitchenette has all you need, with a 4 burner gas stove, oven, mini fridge, kettle, toaster and cooking equipment.

Studio 15 is located on the ground floor of a residential apartment. There may be low level foot traffic from the apartment above.
The studio is situated in a quiet street with parking available in the street out the front, with parklands right across the road. It is north facing and opens out onto a sunny private courtyard.

The apartment has two decks overlooking the Great Ocean Road providing great views of everything happening in town, including the regular markets. Walk out the door, cross the road and you will be standing on the dunes checking out the waves.
Put away your car keys. Everything is right outside the door. The Great Ocean Walk starts just 50 meters away. The Information Centre is across the road.

The Studio is a small French inspired apartment attached to a private dwelling in Lorne. The private secluded cottage garden attracts plenty of sun throughout the day, with wildlife in abundance, including koalas, parrots, kookaburras, and the occasional wallaby. We are a short walk to Teddys Lookout, the St.George river walk, the stunning beaches, as well as the renowned cafes and restaurants of Lorne.
The space
The unit is fitted with a queen size bed, an ensuite, kitchenette and an outdoor patio area.
This is the perfect place to stay while enjoying Lorne beautiful attractions, surrounded by the stunning Otway National park, secluded beaches and the many waterfalls in the area make for a wonderful day out, the Twelve Apostles are also an easily accessible day trip. It’s an ideal base for a night or two if you’re travelling on a longer adventure along the coast, or just stay here for as long as you like and enjoy this magical area.

The Studio is semi detached from the main house and guests have their own private entrance and garden area. Access instructions will be given prior to your arrival. It is connected to the main house so there is some low level noise but we are very considerate of our guests comfort.
Other things to note
If you arrive after dark you will need a torch as it’s a short walk down the drive before the sensor lights on the house and studio turn on.

Modern beach house in natural bush setting has one OR two lovely, light and airy queen size bedrooms with walk-a-round beds, family sized bathroom, (separate bath and shower) separate toilet. The private lounge room has comfortable sofas, dining table and chairs and plenty of space for relaxing. All rooms have ocean and garden views. Fully furnished with comfortable queen bed and quality linen and large towels are provided.
Full laundry facilities, washing machine and dryer. Outdoor Hot shower for washing off the sand after a beach swim. Private access and convenient parking.
Heating in each room and central air conditioner, block out blinds, double glazed Windows, private gardens and outdoor furniture with bush and garden views.
Kitchenette/Laundry facilities include: bar fridge (120L), convection microwave, toaster, dual ring induction cooktop, Webber Q style BBQ (outside), Nespresso coffee machine, and tea making facilities. Crockery, Cutlery, Glassware , Utensils are provided.
There is a 132cm HD TV in the lounge area with IQ3 Foxtel Satellite all channels, also Netflix, iView, SBSOnDemand. It also has a HDMI cable and a Chromecast for inputs. We have quality Wifi with FTTP 100/40 NBN Connection.

Your privacy is ensured by a lockable door at the upper level (our permanent home). The lower level is a self contained apartment.
The house is a short walk to possibly the BEST beach on the surf coast, the magnificent sandy Fairhaven beach on the famous Great Ocean Road, Victoria.
Close to shops, cafe's and restaurants, beautiful coastal walks all within easy reach. Private and quiet location....all you can hear is the crashing surf! oh... and the birds :) kangaroos and wallabies regularly graze on the front lawn.

Other things to note
1. The base price is for 2 people in ONE BEDROOM ONLY. To include the 2nd bedroom in your booking alter the number of guests to 3 or 4. The 2nd bedroom is never rented separately. There is space for an air bed in the lounge or either bedroom for a 5th person, but its BYO airbed and bedding.
2. The upper level of our house is our permanent residence. From time to time you will hear us moving around, preparing meals etc and see us coming and going from our vehicles from our separate rear access outside of your accommodation.
3. We have a dog on the property. We are pet friendly and permit well behaved pets but have no fences. We ask you keep them off the furniture and beds or provide your own bed/rug, and pick up any droppings in obvious places. Plenty of off-leash beach access. See the guide for the link to local dog regulations (at the end).
4. Strictly no smoking inside, and butts must be correctly disposed of if smoking outside.
5. all bed linnen and bath towels etc are provided. just bring your beach towels if desired.

Guests have access to the entire property for the duration of their visit.
The only exception to this is the linen cupboard which has been locked due to storing possessions of the property owner. We ask that guests respect this boundary and do not attempt to enter any locked areas.
