The building entrance is on a characterful cobbled street, packed with intriguing boutiques and cafés. A few floors up on the roof-top, a shared terrace has gorgeous views across Golden Horn to the Old City.

It’s about 3 minutes walk to Sishane metro station, less than 5 minutes walk to Tünel funicular and a short downhill walk to connect with the tram for Sultanahmet. Famous Istiklal Avenue is less than 10 minutes walk up the hill.

The apartment opens into a welcoming hall. The living room with flat-screen TV and comfy sofa is right next to the dining room, adding up to a versatile area for relaxing. Metro, bus, tram and ferry stops are all only a couple of minutes’ walk away. You can be in Sultanahmet (for the big sights of Ayasofya, Topkapı, Blue Mosque etc.) in about 12 minutes by public transport or 20 minutes on foot. In the other direction, by Metro, you can be in Şişli (for Istanbul’s biggest shopping mall) in 10 minutes or Levent (for Istanbul’s business district) in 15 minutes.

- "My partner and I only stayed there one night but our experience was rather disappointing. We reserved this hotel because their Expedia page said it offered complimentary airport transportation, but we realized when we got there that it was false advertisement, probably mistakenly put there. We were disappointed, but understood that these things happen. As a compromise, the receptionist offered to arrange an airport taxi for half the price and required payment before he made the reservation, so we paid him upfront in cash. The next morning, we hop in the taxi and get to the airport. As we roll our luggage away, the taxi driver runs after us and starts throwing a fit, demanding payment and refusing to let us go. That’s when we realized the receptionist never paid him, so we ended up paying $60 total for a $40 cab ride. Aside from this negative experience, the hotel is affordable but doesn’t offer much at all — no soaps which was not really a problem for us. However, we’ll definitely pick a different hotel next time because the cleanliness left much to be desired... we spotted stains of bodily fluids from previous guests which had obviously not been cleaned. In conclusion, would not recommend unless you were on a very tight budget. "

This hotel apartment is located at a 2’ walk from the Şişhane metro station where you have a beautiful view of the sunset in Sultanahmet, a 3’ walk from the Galata tower and a 15’ walk from the Karaköy tram stop and Galata Bridge. It is close to the Galata Mevlevihane’si Museum, Galip Dede and İstiklal caddesi but away from all the noise. Communication was fast and easy thanks also to IG and Whatsapp. Our apartment was very clean, comfortable and fully equipped. The elevator was a big plus. I'm subletting my studio space in Galata, Hoca Ali Sok., very close to the Galata Tower and Karakoy... It is high ceiling, two rooms, one small kitchen, small toilet. Including shower inside the toilet with hot water access anytime. Furnished. I've got some of my stuff there,

The place is a very old apartment and inside is in poor condition. But cosy and calm, nice place. The shower is old style, there is no bathing area. There is electric owen for cooking. And electric heating. It is a studio place, please beninterested only if you know how to accomodatenin studio settings. Best!

There are coffee shops, parking lots, atms and markets around the neighborhood. Latest check in: 5 pm. Checkout: 11 am.

Other things to note
I have flowers and plants that watering is necessary once/twice a week. The street is pretty calm however note that the windows are old wood as you see in the pics. So the street noise might be in the apartment. If you are sensisitive to sound consider this.

You can turn the hot water on by uplifting the switch. The switch is mounted left on the wall to the sink.
