The flat (type 4) is located on the second and third floors of the Aparthotel and is accessible by lift. On the ground floor of the flat (214) is the hall, a 4-bed bedroom (a 2-bed and a bunk bed) and the bathroom. On the first floor is the living room, south-west-facing balcony and the kitchen. The view from the flat (ski slopes) is among one of the most beautiful in the Aparthotel and from early afternoon until evening there is sunshine on the balcony (with dining table and chairs).
The flat is completely renovated and newly furnished. The living room has a cosy Austrian seating area.
Our flat has reception of German and Dutch TV channels.

The appartment is located in the aparthotel (****) and has everything you could wish for a wonderful holiday. The beautiful and recently renovated hotel is close to the ski lift and ski slope, the ski school practice area and the ski bus stop. The cosy and friendly centre of Mittelberg with its nice restaurants, bars and shops is about 300 m away. Several beautiful cross-country skiing trails and hiking paths start near the hotel. The well-known Steinbeck trail starts behind the hotel. The Aparthotel has many facilities: a lovely indoor swimming pool with sun terrace, an indoor children's play area with play equipment (incl table tennis tables), bar/dancing (with often live music), and and a bowling alley. New is the Spa and Wellness Centre on the 6th floor. The hotel also houses a ski school and ski hire. In the attractive and excellent restaurant (also takeaway, pizza and sandwich service) you can have breakfast and dinner (also half-board possible. If you rent our flat, you can use all facilities (free of charge) (excluding the SkySpa).

The position is perfect, as in this valley you can forget the car and use only the public transport (busses and telepheriques), included in the apartment price. Actually it's even better that the way it looks in the photos here, as it's rather big (for our tastes, we're a 4 people family) and has nice little features not listed here in the announcement. The only complain is related to the Aparthotel's personnel, rather unkind, but we had the impression that is we where not the only ones experiencing it. About that, I want to spend a positive note about the Hungarian guy at the desk of the bread shop inside the hotel: he's the kindest guy ever, and he speaks perfect English (differently from most of his colleagues there). By the way, I great place to stay. Strongly suggested!"

The Kleinwalsertal ......: The Kleinwalsertal is one of the best known and most beautiful recreation areas in the Alps. The valley has three villages: Riezlern (1088m), Hirschegg (1150m) and Mittelberg with Baad (1200 to 1250m).

Due to its geographical location, the valley offers an extraordinarily favorable high mountain climate, with low barometer pressure and high air purity. The average sunshine duration is extremely high at 1556 hours. The Kleinwalsertal is Austrian territory, German economic area and it was settled 700 years ago by the Walser people from the canton of Valais in southern Switzerland.

- "We had a fabulous week at the Apartments Brietach. The apartments have everything you need, and are very good value for money. It is situated in a valley with wonderful mountain views. The owners, Astrid and Stefan, are delightful, as are their staff. Their beautiful Biernese Mountain dogs makes it a home from home for any dog lover, and dogs are welcome guests. The restaurant and food is excellent. There was local skiing on offer, but we were skiiing in Obersdorf where we have been previously. We found this an excellent place to stay, the drive has stunning views, and buses are frequent and door to door."
