- "We didn’t know exactly what to expect from Bon Azur or the area, but were pleasantly surprised by both. The property is well maintained, with excellent beach views (and access). You do need a car to get around, but there are options within walking distance too (just not many). It is so good to be able to shop at the Mauritian supermarkets (Super U 15 minutes away by car) and buy the lovely local produce and cook a nice meal on the bbq and relax with Pheonix beer and wine overlooking the beach at sunset! We have now decided that when we travel to Mauritius we will exclusively use LOV properties simply because of the spacious accommodation, high level of luxury and great facilities and expert management. Soobhug was an incredibly brilliant host, smiling non stop and saying 'Yes' to any request we made. He was too helpful and when i needed an extension cable to allow me to work by sitting at the table and plug my printer and PC into a specific socket he brought one for me from his home! He was a wealth of local information and gave great tips for where to go for good takeaway food. The apartment B1 was huge with sleeping for 8 although it might be too crowded if fully occupied. For 4 of us it was plenty spacious. It was clean and cleaned daily by the lovely Joanita (sorry I might have got the name wrong) and she made a special effort to do a special decoration for my Son's birthday. This holiday complex is in a great location directly opening out on a picturesque stretch of beach (pretty but not swimmable due to volcanic rocks)"

- "This was a Great Place to Stay with kids and We had a Great Time" - "Good modern apartment but you need a car to get about anywhere as Grand Baie is a 35mins walk away along a very busy road with no pavements. The pool at the complex is lovely but small & there aren't many sunbeds there. It does have a beach club with sunbeds but you have to pay for them. There is a free bus to take you there but takes its time as it picks up at other places too. I would say these apartments are best if you want to get out & about to see the island. Roads are very easy to follow with plenty of signs. We had a problem with the oven & it was sorted a.s.a.p. which was good. "

- "Not long returned from my second month long stay at Allamanda (previous visit March 2023). Quiet location just across the road from beach with other access to bathing beaches close by. Stayed in 1 bed apt 2nd floor with small balcony, table & chairs plus some washing line. Use of washing machines downstairs if needed but i just did handwash now and again. Good cheap buses (stop outside) and on site parking with economical car hire down the road. Owner Hari usually around somewhere but can contact on WhatsApp if ever needed. Friendly cleaning staff do excellent service. Some furniture is now a bit dated but more than serviceable. This is clean affordable budget price accommodation, with hot solar shower and fans plus aircon comfort is assured in 30+ degrees! Separate lounge, toilet, bedroom, shower and kitchen with sink, gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle and cooking utensils if eating in. In downstairs entrance there is now a filtered drinking water tap to use as required which is useful. The property is located in North of island about 80 minute taxi ride, my return journey (courtesy of Hari) cost 1800 Rupees plus tip. As i only had hand luggage, on arrival i opted to take 3 buses from airport to Bain Boeuf (about 4 hours) to see the island en route, cost just over 100 Rupees but not recommended with luggage! If U R looking for an excellent, basic, but more than adequate place for a holiday on a budget with nearby beaches and restaurants....I recommend you stay here."

" - "The apartment block is located in one of the best locations in Grand Baie, with many restaurants nearby (definitely go to Chez Nad) and a nice beach (La Cuvette) about 10min walk away along the water. Souvenir shops, breakfast places, and market down Racket Road. Bus stop just outside. Sunset Boulevard, if you want the touristy area, is about 5min walk. The compound is secure and all rooms face into an internal courtyard, making it quiet even though it is along the main road. Apartment was clean and designed nicely, I didn’t even need the air con with the fans (during winter). The daily housekeeping was a good call, and a difference from other apartments. Very good value for money."

- "Good location next to the beach and a good layout of the apartment. Confusing that the place has two names. The code the get in through the front door was not correct. Hot water comes and it is not so clean." - "This apartment is perfectly located right next to the beach in Flic En Flac. There are lots of cafés and restaurants within a 10 minute walk of the apartment itself. We felt very secure with all external gates being on pin code locks including the entrance to the offstreet parking. We had a two bedroom apartment, where there was plenty wardrobe space, and comfortable beds. There was a covered balcony where we were able to eat outside. Wi-Fi was also great, and there was a good TV although we never found much to watch on the local channels! The kitchen had a oven, hob, microwave and kettle - and the basic crockery you would need. Communication with the property was clear and simple and we used WhatsApp to keep in touch."

- "Fabulous service " - "The property is modern and the accommodation is of a high standard in decor, facilities and cleanliness. Absolutely loved the studio. Very spacious. I was in room 201 and once the door between the bedroom and the sitting room was closed, I could not hear any noise from the bar downstairs, even on a busy weekend. Highly recommend this property." - "This studio apartment was spacious and modern and in an excellent location immediately opposite Flic en Flac beach. I found the bed super comfortable although I would have preferred if there was more than just one sheet on the mattress. There was some dripping from a pipe inside the bathroom which was a bit weird as I didn’t know where it was coming from but otherwise I had no issues with the bathroom other than it would have been nice to have warmer water in the shower. The first night that I arrived was a Friday and there was live music which was extremely loud. This was followed by what sounded like a DJ set until like 1-2am. The walls are thin and all the sound travels through even when people are walking around etc so if you’re looking for a quiet spot, this probably isn’t the best place for you, though saying that, it might be alright during the week. To be fair to the property, they do make it clear that there is loud music and more of a party vibe on the weekends."

We offer you 1 room , a bathroom and a balcony . The room is comfortable . You will appreciate the sunrise in the morning from your bed if you push the curtain! We are in an agricultural village and you can observe planters from the balcony. You can go to the gardens and buy vegetables . The neighbourhood is good and you can easily mingle if you wish. Presence of nice dogs. Breakfast and dinner on request. Need to order the day before. Massage/ Boat île aux chats on request

Owner also provide a pick up at the airport upon your arrival for transfer to the apartment.

Should you need a car or a scooter to rent during your stay, Owner can propose you at competitive prices.

Last but least, a welcome pack is given to you at the time of check in comprising some basic information, bottle of water etc.
