The space
After just a couple of steps up the inner staircase, one enters into what is the real jewel of the house: a calming, stylishly refurbished apartment accommodating 2 persons. What used to be just a floor in a classical 18th century Istrian house has now been meticulously redecorated to become a stylish accommodation unit delicately combining various styles and époques, aimed at providing an entirely new aesthetical dimension. The place abounds with beautiful little artefacts and design details catching the occupant’s eye at every corner some of witch were (re)made in the art studio situated in the basement.

The 50 square meter apartment consists of a living and dining area, one bedroom, a small but fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom as well as a loggia.

Apart from the magnificent views and early morning bird song you are welcome to enjoy a variety of books from the library, great selection of vinyl records or simply close your eyes and immerse yourself in the sound of silence.

Steep cobblestone roads in Motovun old town where the apartment is situated are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible and present a significant challenge to persons with mobility issues and disabilities

The apartment is located in the hart of the medieval town of Motovun. The main square, city wall, bars, restaurants and shops are a couple of minutes walking distance. There is a private parking (included in the price) in front of the house which is really rare in the historic center.
The spacious apartment with a terrace and breath taking mountain views features 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, 1 bathroom with a bath and a toilet.

The space
This is a really big apartment, approximately 135 M2. The apartment has a big sunny terrace, balcony and a nice veranda. The view from the terrace, balcony, veranda and any window is breath taking. From the veranda there is a beautiful view on the famous city wall and the city tower, from the other side of the veranda and from the terrace, balcony and bedroom, bathroom windows there is a beautiful view over the hills around Motovun and the Mirna river valley. This is a modern apartment but we kept some of the original details from the 18th century as the hand made stones on the terrace and veranda. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, bathroom, toilet, a big living room with open kitchen, a glass veranda with bamboo furniture, balcony and private parking.

The guests can access the whole apartment + there is a nice terrace in the garden surrounded with trees and flowers, perfect to relax during the day in the shadow :)
