The Villa is set in a peaceful valley a short drive from Motovun Village, with a car we were easily able to explore all the Istrian coastline and national parks, from the villa. The kids enjoyed a day trip to Venice. There was a welcome pack on arrival which we were able to survive the first night without provisions, fresh fruits meats, oil and drinks from the local area. If we had to think of a negative, after a long journey maybe, soap, shampoo and coffee to cover the first night would have been good, but certainly nothing that would effect our 5 star rating of this property which goes above and beyond. This was our first visit to Croatia and the Istrian region. The villa met all of our requirements from the adventurous young adults to the senior members of the family who had no trouble with accessibility. I could not recommend more highly staying with Matjaz, if you are trying to decide on accommodation in this region I doubt you could find anything to surpass this fantastic property in any detail.
