It is right by the loading docks, and you have a 10 min walk to the beach and restaurants following the road. The spa consists of a jacuzzi that could not gobin because Inwas told I had to reserve three hours in advance... The worse is that you can not park anywhere around the hotel without paying parking. The room is nice but not fuctional and racks for luggage where missing. My room had the road as views. The bathroom downlight was not working, and I had to kill and through out of the room a type of cockrouch (probably too eco friendly)."

- "My husband and I have stayed in Podpec for one week.The house was exactly as we found and saw it on the website. The garden is beautiful! It was big enough for the both of us. We only used the bathroom on the ground floor,so there is still place. The hosting was perfect and we felt really comfortable.We had time for us,but also could go to Neva and her husband if we need help,had questions or just wanted to talk :) From the house you can do a lot of hikings.You can directly start from the house and can hike to the castle you see on the picture.There you have a beautiful view over the ocean and the hills. We did three hiking tours around 15-20 km and they all have been interesting and needed normal condition. There are churches to visit,caves,historical monuments and it is very close to the border of Italy and Croatia. The ocean is 20-30 minutes away with the car. There are also many restaurants but you have to drive there,because it’s too far (minimum 1 hour) to walk. You have everything you need to cook at yourself in the house. Villa Topolovec is a Mediterranian villa complex of three beautiful houses. The house is situated in the middle of a very small picturesque village on top of the hill.

The renovation is done to the highest standards providing a comfort of a modern home. Living areas are very spacious with air-conditioning in each room, fully equipped Italian kitchen and dining area. In the living room is a fireplace, perfect for cooler nights, TV and a large DVD collection provided for your entertainment. The Master bedroom is very grand and beautiful, the 2nd bedroom is smaller but cozy. Both bedrooms have en-suit bathrooms. An extra sleeping space is a sofa-bed downstairs with an access to a 3rd bathroom. The washing machine and dryer are conveniently located in a separate technical room.

The private stone courtyard is very spacious, with a pool, wooden deck, several outside sitting areas and grill.

It’s remote and not overlooked from a single angle so if you are seeking out peace and quiet then this is the villa for you. Beds are comfortable and large and the whole villa is beautifully furnished in a very rustic “French shabby chic” style. The front terrace is amazing with beautiful views and plenty of shade from the intense heat of the day. We didn’t meet the owners but talked with them by phone and email - they were extraordinary helpful - we arrived very late so I gave them a list of items we would need ie. Bread, butter, eggs, ham, milk etc and they would not let us pay for them. Because of the remote nature of this property you’ll definitely need a car - the nearest shop is a few miles away. It’s literally just over the border from Italy so you will have no difficulty finding great Slovenian or Italian restaurants. The biggest recommendation I can provide is that we plan to return again in May next year!"

You may choose to visit the town Koper which is located approx. 10 km (10 minutes of driving) away from the appartment. Koper is a vibrant historical coastal town whose picturesque appearance is mainly due to Venetian influences. You can explore it's city center and historical houses, enjoy a good italian coffee in small coffee bars or take a swim at the city beach.

Our location is an excellent starting point for cycling-lovers due to numerous cycling trails in surrounding small villages, as well as in the city centres.

The surrounding area is full of untouched nature, and it's perfect for long panorama walks or bike rides considering there are many beautiful paths crossing the near villages.

Guests will not have to worry about the parking, there are plenty of free spots in front of the house/apartment. Free WI-FI will be at disposal of our guests.
