LOCATION Sea front, our room had a wonderful view. Hotel has its own beach with access via several steps. 5 minutes walk from the center of the village, with restaurants, bars and ice cream shops. 10 minutes walk from a supermarket. The hotel is on the cliff, and has step free access to a beautiful oceanfront promenade. PRIVATE BEACH On the edge of the Adriatic, then cement and stones. Large number of sun beds and umbrellas. They have a small shallow beach and a large space reserved for diving directly from the edge. Lots of fish, very peaceful to float on inflatable toys. The hotel offers space to store floating toys, SUPs, etc. FOOD The buffet has mild variety, but like all buffet systems, nothing is as delicious or as good as an a la carte. But the price including dinner was an excellent value. Drinks are delicious. SPA The spa looks fantastic, spacious, airy, a giant heated pool, spacious sauna (swimming costume not allowed)."

- "staff very nice, excellent food" - "Pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Room was large and very clean. We paid extra for a room with a terrace and a view and wished we had just gotten a basic room. The room was on the first floor and traffic noise from the street below made the terrace unpleasant. We also were at the far end and there was very little water view. Hotel location is good - quick walk to old town and also close to a nice walking path by the water. Free parking in a lot a block behind the hotel. Breakfast was substandard, and the coffee was terrible, so it’s not worth paying extra for. "

- "This hotel is a converted 1800's seaside villa from the days of the Empire in the small historic coastal town of Lovran. The exterior is incredible and when you walk into your partitioned apartment facing the sea the most amazing thing happens if you are on the upper floors....you walk to the window, pull inward the double glass windows, push outward the original wood shutters and WOW a spectacular view of the Adriatic sea!!! The apartments are managed by the Hotel Excelsior which is two buildings away. You actually check-in and get your key at the Excelsior and can use all the amenities of the Excelsior too including their world class spa and massage therapy. - "Liked the water." - "We had to take Bungalov instead of our booked Mobile home, as guests before us didn´t leave and prolonged their stay by one night. All premises were booked, so that´s why we were offered bungalov. It was a bit complicated to move again next day, lots of baggage and two kids, but at the end it was OK. We got 10% discount on our entire stay. Mobile home was a bit hot as there is only one AC in the main room and two bedrooms need to have open doors to cool it down. Squeezing door were probably the only issue we had. We had great stay, service was kind and replied to all our requests and the sea and beach is amazing. Perfectly suits for family with young kids (our kids are 1,5 and 3,5 yo)."

I usually pick a known hotel brand because I know what to expect but I’m so happy I didn’t. We were greeted by the owners with a welcome drink, snacks, and kindness. We sat and talked while they checked us in and then showed us to our room and talked about their amenities. They have a beautiful property that has a pool where you can lay out, a little self service bar, a cute sitting area, a garden where they use to make breakfast. Our room had a view of the sea and it was breathtaking, we walked to town and along the beach for dinner. They offer a ride on their tuk tuk to take you into town and pick you up so whatever you decide to do you have options. Overall, best experience ever. Love the owners and how kind and welcoming they were and their beautiful property! Can’t wait to visit when we make our way back to Croatia! "
