- "The house is high up in the mountains over steep streets. The Caso do Alto on Google Maps slightly deviates from the actual entrance. Use the coordinates given by the owner instead. You arrive at a gate which the owners will open for you. We were warmly greeted by Tania, and her family, and the dog (which they kept on a leash during our stay). The upper apartment, which is next to the owners, has wonderful views from the small balcony. The rooms are very spacious, and they are all airconditioned (although we hardly used it due to the cool breeze in the evenings). The pool is very large, and open to the owners and the renters of the second apartment. It is some stairs away from the apartment. We had a wonderful bbq at the poolside. In conclusion, we had a wonderful stay, and would definitely stay here again."

The open kitchen/living room/dining layout gets a lot of natural light and the apartment feels larger then the pictures.
