- "The staff were very helpful, welcoming and friendly - they made a big difference between an average stay and a terrific stay. With separate large master bedroom, large lounge room, kitchen and large bathroom, the apartment (No 7) was very spacious, if anything, a bit too spacious (e.g. 20 metres between bed and WC, 6 metres between couch and TV), but this is not really a complaint - it is always better to be too spacious than insufficiently spacious. My colleague (Mr Klaus Nehyba) in Number 8 had the same number and types of rooms but with a shower recess and a sauna, but his area was half that of Number 7, and it seemed to be more comfortable for that. Amenities were mostly very good, showering from inside a bath tub is always undesirable for me, and the water pressure at 8:00am was too low to operate the shower, but it was fine in the evening. I showered in the evening and used a basin wash in the morning. The cafe bar and food were excellent."

The location is also perfect as it is 3 minute walk from the closest ski resort and in walk distance from the centre of Stary Smokovec where restaurants and shops are. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone who are going to stay for several days in High Tatras."

- "Nice place with kitchen, but It Is necessary to do the check-in in other hotel placed about 4 km far. " - "Instructions on arrival landed very late, so we had driven to apartment only to find you cannot get the key at the actual apartments. We had to travel to a different hotel to get checked in and pay the local taxes. The end room safe has no explanation or instructions and locked our passports away on the first day so we had to get somebody out to release the safe and never used it again. When we got into the apartment, it was cold and took a few hours to warm up with all the radiators on. The apartment does not have a microwave oven or toaster which was a shame and limited what we could actually have to eat and cook. We seem to only get a certain amount of hot water each day so had to limit how long everyone spent in the shower to a couple of minutes each maximum. There is a small supermarket within a five minute drive. There are plenty of local restaurants around but dependent on the time of the year if they are open or not during the week or weekend. The drive to the Jason’s ski resort is approximately 12 to 13 minutes. . The stunning liberty caves are within a five minute drive from the apartment. After the initial grief of having to go back to the hotel to get our keys to check in to go back to the apartment, it was as we wanted. The biggest issue was when I went on Hotels.com to ring the phone numbers one went to a gentleman who asked why are you calling me before telling me I had to go to the hotel."
