Wehlen is located in the beautiful Mosel Valley and is the home of the world-famous wine "Wehlener Sonnenuhr". The place is characterized by the steeply sloping vineyards and on the back of the nature reserve scattered fruit meadows. The village centre offers small alleys with numerous half-timbered houses and wine bars that invite you to linger and enjoy delicious wines. The vineyard trails are ideal hiking routes and offer magnificent panoramic views. Partially guided hikes are offered. Enjoy the numerous events of the wine venues. You will find other interesting wine places nearby (Zeltingen-Rachtig, Bernkastel, Neumagen-Dhron, Lieser, etc.). Larger cities, e.g. Wittlich, Trier are also easily accessible. A visit to Luxembourg is also available.
