It is a little inconvenient with minimal amenities, but Onuma Park's favorite unique mountain hut is located in the nature-rich Onuma Quasi-National Park.
You can see the magnificent Mt. Komagatake Hokkaido from the lake just around the corner.
This is a plan to stay without meals.

There are 2 single beds and 1 extra bed in a 10 square meter room that can accommodate up to 3 people.

* There is one shower room for men and women.Shampoo, body soap, towels, etc. are not provided, so please provide them.
In addition, there are many good day-use hot spring facilities in Hakodate Onuma, so please use them.

There are no comfortable facilities or excessive services like hotels and inns.Please make a reservation after understanding.

There is no air conditioning in each room.

Bonfires are not allowed on windy days.

We have relocated from Sydney, where we've lived for over 30 years, to Onuma. We are enjoying a slow life with our 3-year-old energetic Bernese Mountain Dog, Hanako. As she resides indoors, we can only accommodate those who are fond of larger dogs for overnight stays.
From here, you can explore Southern Hokkaido, driving, fishing, canoeing, golfing, and trekking. In winter, we are conveniently located within a 10-minute drive to Lake Onuma for ice fishing and a ski resort with Nanae Gondola.
The space
The guest rooms consist of Western-style (2 single beds) and Japanese-style (8-tatami mat with 3 futons), accommodating 2 and 3 people respectively. We host one group at a time (from 1 person to a maximum of 5), ensuring exclusivity.

The Western-style room features a walk-in closet, though it's not accessible to guests. Additionally, the bedroom on the ground floor is also unavailable for guest use.
During your stay
Support during your stay is available via mobile phone. Contact details for Jimmy and Ellie are provided in the house manual. If time permits, we're also open to accompanying you for sightseeing or activities; please consult us in advance.
Other things to note
When using the bathroom, please note that only the shower is available. We have a large bathtub, but filling it takes over an hour. If you wish to use it, kindly inform us in advance. Also, there are several nearby day spas (Onsen) reachable by car in about 15 minutes. Would you consider utilizing them?"
