- "Here's the deal with this hotel-- the owner is running it on his own, and clearly working hard to do so. He really went out of his way to help us out in a pinch. We ended up booking this space last minute when our flight out of Jamaica was cancelled and we needed a place to stay in Montego Bay for the night. This lodging is near the airport. When we arrived, the owner was scrambling a bit to make sure things were set up-- i.e., the room needed toilet paper and bottles of water, which he went shopping to provide. (We had just booked the room about a half-hour before we arrived.) Later that evening, when I tried to order a pizza and was past the delivery deadline, the owner *literally* walked the mile there and back to pick up my pizza and bring it to me. He also helped me order it, as my phone was not dialing internationally for some reason. In the morning he had a driver ready to take us to the airport. The rooms were pleasant, clean, and ours had a patio that went directly out to a beautiful pool and hot tub situation. There aren't many bells or whistles here-- it's not a luxury place-- but it was a fine place to crash after a disastrous day of travel stress, we felt safe, we slept well, and I'd stay here again if the need arose. "
