They are very caring and does make you kinda like staying with family a bit" - "The owners were very helpful and went out of their way to help with transportation. The location is a short 10min walk to Echoland Main Street, great for food and drinks (but be prepared to wait for a dinner sitting). It is a short walk to the shuttle bus stops to get on snow, but unfortunately they don’t open breakfast until 0730 and if everyone comes down at the same time you’ll be pressed to get your breakfast in time to catch the first shuttle (you can just have toast and a coffee if you get stuck). We requested a queen bed, but got given two singles and the room is quite small. However the heating works well and it had everything we needed. I emailed Rob to ask the best way to get to the hotel from the train station and was informed we would be picked up. Unfortunately although I emailed a couple days prior updating on our arrival time at the train station, he never replied and turned up at the station 50minutes after we arrived (at the time the busiest train arrived with most of the crowds). Rob was unable to take us to the train station for our departure but Yoshi was helpful in calling a taxi the night before. "
