.How do you get to Hostal Ebenezer Amazona?
Hostal Ebenezer Macedonia is located in the community of Macedonia, in the Amazon, and can only be reached by boat.
Go to the port of Leticia and head to the store called “Transporte Amazona”.
Ask for a ticket to Macedonia. The cost should be around 42,000 COP.
It is advisable to buy the ticket several hours in advance, as they sell out quickly.
They have four departure times:
-7:00 a.m.
-09:00 a.m.
-12:00 p.m.
-2:00 p.m. (usually the one that sells out the fastest)
The person who sells you the ticket will show you where to board the boat (it's right across).
Arrive at the port 30 minutes before your trip time. It's important.
Please note that only 12 kilos of luggage are allowed on the boat. You'll need to pay for excess luggage.
The boat trip to Macedonia takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, it is very safe and quiet.
