The space
Your studio has a super comfy Sealy queen sized ensemble and quality linen. The room is cosy yet spacious. You have your own separate entrance, parking and ensuite. There's a relaxing chill out area under the deck just for you, complete with a day bed and Weber BBQ. The washing up area and laundry are right next to the studio.
Guest access
You access the studio via the walkway to the left of the front stairs, through a side gate. You will only share the laundry/garage for washing or washing up, if there are guests upstairs.

I'm available by phone and through the site at all times of day and night. I travel a lot so I won't always be available in person. I sometimes have a friend housesit upstairs. I respect your privacy and will give you what you need.

There is a large air-conditioner in the living area (sized to cool the entire bnb) and fans in the bedrooms.

This bnb is in a resort style village with direct beach access through a locked gate. It is close to the city and all it has to offer. Close to the Airport, sporting fields, BB Print Stadium and right next door to the Ocean International Resort a very popular event destination.

Mackay has many lovely restaurants and bars for your enjoyment. If you require any information please don't hesitate to ask us. We are also the gateway to the reef and islands. Eungella National Park is approx 45 min drive through the beautiful Pioneer Valley. During the season you can go whale watching from the Mackay Harbour or simply stand at the top of the Lamberts Beach Lookout and spot them from there.

Set amongst 12acres of rainforest we offer a traditional Bed and Breakfast sharing our home.
We have two double rooms with a lounge/kitchenette for your use.
It is suitable for singles, couples or families.
There is a salt water pool, BBQs are available as well as a great fire pit with views.
The space
All of our guests have suggested that you stay longer than 1 night,
We have two bedrooms with a double queen size bed in each bedroom, we can accommodate a total of 4 people, extra charge applies for over 2 people.
The bathroom is off the lounge, this gives full privacy from the rest of the house. Each bedroom has TV.
Both bedrooms are air conditioned and fans for comfort.
The lounge/kitchenette has a fridge and micro wave , frying pan for guests use. There is also a BBQ on the patio.
A walk through our lush tropical gardens are tranquil and relaxing , sitting in the fairy garden with fantastic views, reading a book.
Our Breakfast consists, cereals, yogurt, toast , fruits, tea and coffee and juice. Fresh fruit when in season, pawpaw, mangoes, lychees, avocados, passion fruit, dragon fruit, local and homage preserves, jams and chutneys when available.
BBQs are available for use and cutlery and utensils are provided for guests.
Enjoy the comfort of the pool, a great place for an afternoon drink.
There is ample parking at the end of our 500m drive, (car and boat)
The tropical rainforest is abundant with bird life, animals, flowers and tranquility.
We are pet friendly (Dogs, maximum of 2) Dogs are not permitted in the rooms .Dogs must be must be restrained and are the responsibility of the owners. Dogs must have current and up to date vaccinations, worm flea and tick.
A paddle board and fishing gear is available on request.

This is our home so we will have interaction with our guests, but you will have your own space and privacy.
We have two King Charles Cavalier pups, who are part of our family, be mindful that your dogs are sociable

Our property is a four-hectare, semi-rural site located near Kuttabul, just north of Mackay. It features areas of natural dry-rainforest, seasonal creeks and attracts a number of native bird and small marsupial species.
The lodge sleeps a maximum of 4 people in 2 bedrooms (king, twin/king). There are 2 bathrooms, cooking and laundry facilities as well as an outside deck and pool area where you can watch the wallabies at dusk.

PARKING

• Please do not park in the road, it will obstruct the flow of traffic and may be towed.
• Please do not park in the “Visitor Parking” spaces, as you may be towed.
• Our guesthouse carport is unavailable for use (to prevent our dogs from escaping).
GENERAL
• Some external areas eg driveway are shared with us/the owners living in the mainhouse.
• There are no ocean views from the guesthouse but the beach is only 50 meters away.
• The 2nd bedroom has a trundle bed (which transforms to 2 single beds).
• Outdoor CCTV is in use.
DOGS
• Labrador dogs Luna (white) & Lila (black) on site, no other pets allowed.
• The dogs (when let outside) may lie in front of the guesthouse door and shed hair.
• Don’t let the dogs escape by being too slow to close the gates.
• It’s your responsibility to confirm gates are completely shut & the dogs haven’t escaped.

• Aircon – don’t run: below 22 oC, if nobody’s home, if doors/windows open, non-stop
• Rangehood – don’t forget to switch off (it runs silent) = will cause motor burnout
• TV – don’t unplug or alter any cables = will lose reception
