Its10 minutes drive from the Hill of Tara and 25 minutes drive from Newgrange and 15 minutes drive from the heritage town of Trim and its castle. I am 45 minutes from Dublin airport and about 45 minutes from Dublin city centre.

An Lochta is a converted , two story, 19th century grain store, surrounded by a mature and carefully tended garden on a small farm, set in the idyllic rustic peace and quiet of rural Co Meath.
Despite our seclusion, we are just 10 minutes from the M1 motorway, 1 hour from Dublin and within easy reach of the major historical sites of Meath, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan.

The Saddle Room is at the end of a long tree lined avenue, offering comfort and privacy in a lovely rural setting. It is within easy access to the motorway network; Dublin Airport is only a thirty minute drive away and the charm of Dublin City a mere forty minutes away! We are also fortunate to have the award winning Tayto Park only 10 mins away as well as the extraordinary pre-historic Newgrange & the historic Hill of Tara + Slane Castle & the River Boyne all about fifteen minutes away.

The space
The Saddle Room is named because in the past it housed apprentice jockeys, alongside the saddles and bridles used in the family's NH racing and thoroughbred breeding business. David and Pamela completed its conversion (with the help and support of local builder, Ray Smyth) in 2016. It comprises a light and airy open plan living room with a separate small kitchen. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a bathroom with large walk in shower, loo, handbasin and electric towel rail. The Saddle Room can acommodate four guests.

Guest access
Guests have exclusive use of the Saddle Room with private access to the Orchard. Guests can also access the family's large and attractive gardens and woodland glade and as they only live 60 yards from the Saddle Room are available to help in anyway.

The space
The studio apartment is located adjacent to Gormanston Beach, overlooking the Irish Sea.

The building was built in the 1930s as the Silver Beach Pavilion and Dance Hall. It was known locally at the time as the 'Ballroom of Romance', and hosted local events and show-bands who came from across Ireland to perform for the local community. Since then, the building has been restored with all modern conveniences.

The studio apartment has its own front door and entrance hallway. It comes with a modern fully fitted kitchen with integrated appliances (fridge, dishwasher, and washer dryer combo). There is a living/dining area with television with Sky satellite package and Netflix. The bedroom has a hotel quality king size bed with luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets. The en suite bathroom is stocked with toiletries and cotton towels.

Fast Wifi perfect for streaming movies and video-teleconferencing.

Modern heat recovery ventilation system has been installed to keep the property fully ventilated.

The property is situated off a quiet country road (cul-de-sac, leading to the beach), behind an electric security gate (with keypad).

There is also a separate access-controlled pedestrian gate for convenient access to the beach.

Private secure parking is available in front of the studio.

Other things to note
Dublin City Centre: 40 minutes by car or 46 minutes by train from Gormanston train station. Trains to/from Dublin Connolly and Dublin Pearse stations run hourly.

Dublin Airport: 25 minutes by car. The 101 Bus Eireann service between Gormanston and Dublin Airport takes 49 minutes.

A car is recommended for convenience in order to reach the nearest supermarket in Balbriggan (SuperValu or Tesco), which is a 6 minute drive away. Alternatively, the train between Gormanston and Balbriggan takes 4 minutes.

Motor vehicles are prohibited on Gormanston Beach in order to protect the flora and fauna and provide a safe space for exercise and recreation.

Mill View Cottage is the last of our wonderful sheds to be lovingly restored and in our opinion the jewel of Pheasant Lane, standing tall overlooking the forest beneath with its wonderful views. This two story property is unique with old stone entrance to the ground floor which hosts the kitchen and dining room.Under the quirky decor lighting , the handmade staircase brings you to a wonderful airy and bright sitting room with a raised bedroom to the rear , so snuggly you won't want to leave.

The space
Downstairs in Millview cottage is a fully equipped kitchen with views into the garden. There is a wonderful dinning area to just sit and enjoy some food or maybe play a game or two.
As you make your way up the handmade stairs mind yourself as you take in the beauty of the fabulous light handing above the matching tones of our quirky cactuses. Upstairs is as bright and airy as downstairs with no less that 3 windows to enjoy the country views.
The sofa is strategically set for you to take in the wonderful garden and enjoy some relaxing time with family and friends while still being able to enjoy the views of the forest.
An electric stove is set to the front of the sofa to and ambience to the wonderful room off the sitting room there is both a bathroom with large shower and the bedroom to the rear which can suit up to 3 guests there is 1 double bed and 1 single bed in the room, Definitely a snuggle corner.
Outside the cottage is a large garden for you to just chill and relax on many levels, there are plenty of areas to enjoy your days here at Pheasant Lane

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Once the offices of an old corn mill, but later changed into a family home in the 1930s, was left for years abandoned but now its returning to a welcoming home from home. Hotwell is a beautiful, Late Georgian farmhouse built in 1838. It is unusual in that it is home to a holy well and one of Ireland's only warm springs, St. Gorman's Well, which flows with warm water during the winter. Guests stay in the beautifully renovated stone Coach House.

The space
The Coach House has four bedrooms designed to boutique standards with a stylish, rustic interior, superking beds, rain showers and crisp white linen. It can sleep up to 10, has a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, cosy sitting room and living area.

Guest access
Guests have sole use of the Coach House and the private courtyard lawn in front of it. They also have full use of the 20 acres of the gardens, fields and woods around the farm where the Wilkinson family live, including the tennis court. We also have plenty of garden games like croquet for guests to enjoy.

Guests are welcome to chill out in the gardens, ramble around the farm, through the fields and woods. They can play tennis, table tennis, croquet or other lawn games, and even replenish mind and body when classes are available in the yoga studio. On wetter days, the living room has board games, a TV, Projector, huge DVD collection for kids and grown ups, and lots of books and magazines.

Each room has it's own private stable door onto the courtyard. Across the yard is a yoga studio which is available to rent separately.

Hotwell has been a place of pilgrimage since pre-Christian times and the waters are believed to have healing properties. Devotees bathed in the well, then pinned a piece of their clothing to the old elm tree that grew beside it. In years gone by, the tree was festooned with bits of tattered cloth. There is another legend associated with the well - that if a young maiden bathes in the well before May Day, she will have the man of her desire!
