Double bedroom with private bathroom in an ancient and fashinating house. The location is really interesting, in the heart of Parma.
You can spend here an ideal stay both for culture, shopping and discovery of the gastronomic specialities of Parma.

The space
The house was renovated following the ancient foundations, it has Gothic origin. In the heart of the town, close to Annunciata Church, our house is two minutes walk to bus stop, and less than fifteen minutes to railway station. Our house is situated in a very central location, and you can visit on foot, in a couple of minutes, the places of historical and cultural interest in Parma.

Guest access
At the second Floor of the house, guests will be able to access their private bedroom and bathroom in exclusive use. This private room is fitted with a confortable bed ( mattress in memory foam ) , wardrobe, duvet, hangers, internet wireless and wired, TV, DVD.
In the bathroom you can find fresh towels, hairdryer, shampoo, body wash, all the necessary to shave.
A breakfast will be offered to our guests in the house's tower with a wonderful and suggestive view on the roofs of Parma.
For a stay of 5 days or more, laundry and iron are at your disposal.

From the 1 st of June , the city tax increases. Therefore , at your arrival, we will require the payment of 1,00 euros a day for each guest.

OSPEDALE MAGGIORE: you can reach the hospital in a few minutes both on foot or by bus. The bus number 3, 4, 5 , 23 are at fewer meters of distance and reach the entrance of via Gramsci. The number 5 go to the entrance in via Abbeveratoia.

UNIVERSITY of PARMA: a few minutes walk
CAMPUS UNIVERSITARIO: there are the buses umber 7, 14, 22.
CONSERVATORIO di MUSICA, AUDITORIUM del CARMINE: at 5 minutes walk.
AUTORITÀ ALIMENTARE EUROPEA: EFSA authority food , the head Office is in via Piacenza and it can be reached on foot or with the buses number 6, 12. The bus stop is close to our house.

We are 4 km from the village of Borgotaro, above the hamlet of Monticelli, the last 2 km are not paved, but can be driven with any car.
The property is located near the Borgotaro stop of the Via degli Abati and our walking guests will be driven by car from Borgotaro to the B&B and vice versa.

B&B on the first floor of the pub Le Spine, ideal for those who want to spend an evening tasting Italian craft beers and then stay until the next day!
Just beside the SS62 and Via Francigena, a strategic stop for those traveling along the sea. The rooms have been renovated using natural materials, elements of recovery and design.
The atmosphere is warm but modern. Deliberately without TV!

The space
The house is completely renovated recently, the rooms are cozy with a simple and mountain spiri, with lot of wood. On the ground floor there is a small pub, specialized in craft beers and quality local products. The environment is calm and friendly.
The panoramic view is enchanting and changeable during the hours of the day and during the seasons.
The valley is quiet and panoramic, destination for both motorcyclists and slow tourism. 10 minutes from Berceto, one hour from Parma, the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park and the sea.

Guest access
Guests can enjoy the tables on our summer terrace and the local pub with a fireplace in winter.
To respect the silence of the night we Kindly ask our guests to come back within 11PM.

During your stay
We live on the second floor of the house, so we are almost always present and available during the day and evening until the pub closes.
We therefore ask guests to return the evening before closing, in any case by midnight.

Other things to note
The rooms are on the first floor of our structure, which on the ground floor is a pub, an advantage for lovers of craft beer and convivial evenings. The environment is generally quiet and the pub usually closes by midnight, but occasionally we host concerts, cultural events, or simply lively customers. It can be a limit for those who want to go to sleep very early.
