- "Mariella runs a beautiful B and B just a 30 minute bus ride from the main core of Sorrento and about a 20 minute bus ride to Positano. It's clean and inviting but the cherry on top is the beautiful view when you walk outside onto the terrace. You can see all the way out to the coast. It's enchanting! Mariella keeps the rooms spotless and comes in to tidy everyday and serves us a simple breakfast (bread, pastries, fruits, cereal and your choice of a warm drink). I would recommend this B and B to anyone! My only problem with this place was the location. While you get the beauty and the quietness away from all the tourists, you are not near very much. There's a nice restaurant nearby (Zio Sam's) but not much else. You would benefit from renting a car to get around. The SITA bus system is hit or miss so best to rent a car if staying here. Otherwise, we had a great stay here!"

- "The host Gaetano was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Prior to arrival he messaged to suggest a meeting point as sat navs guide you through a route that’s not possible by car. On that note, when staying at La Casa nel Giardino, I recommend you having transport, but don’t make the mistake we did, and hire a medium sized car - we hired a Nissan Qashqai. Roads in this area are quite narrow, versus the UK, so recommend a small or compact car. Having said that, you get used to the scooter riders who are forever trying to overtake, undertake or avoid a head-on collision. We worked out that’s the norm here and got used to it :). La Casa nel Giardino is wonderful for getting away from it all. Good supermarket in Piano di Sorrento called Conad, which is great value. Gaetano recommended an amazing boat trip across to Capri, with return transport via taxi. That was the highlight of our stay. It all worked like clockwork, with a very helpful and entertaining crew. This accommodation is high spec, clean and has everything you need."

We stayed for 5 nights and the space was perfect for our 2 children (ages 8 and 13) and ourselves. There is a grocery store that's walkable as well as a train station that will take you into Sorrento or back to Naples. We stayed in the garden view superior suites. Rosa and Agustino were amazing and helped us with any questions, any needs. You can send out your laundry as well for a small fee. We would recommend this property to anyone that is wanting to stay just outside Sorrento to avoid the crowds and hustle and bustle to relax. We did not want to leave! We also had dinner at the sister resort. Agustino drove us over and the view was breathtaking. The lamb chops were amazing! We felt like family and were treated as such. The B&B is located on the first floor of an old farmhouse and consists of a double room and two beds to accommodate 4 people. The room is completed with a magnificent equipped terrace overlooking the magnificent view of the Gulf of Naples on which you can enjoy the typical Italian breakfast
