The shuttle service to Sorrento is very efficient but gets filled quickly, so make your plans and book it as early as possible. One evening we returned to our room to discover that the toilet flushed continuously. Within an our the problem was fixed with minimal fuss. This is typical of the responsiveness of the extremely friendly and helpful staff. The swimming pool is large although shade is at a premium. If sunbathing is what you want it's great. The buffet Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Will we go back? Possibly. The hotel was fine, but we have done all we wish to in the Sorrento area. But we recommend this hotel to others"

The train station is not too far away, but if you have a lot of luggage it may present a problem as there are no buses and you have to book an Uber 24 hrs prior. The staff were amazing, especially Angela. They were very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were very clean, beds a bit hard, but that because I like mine soft. The breakfasts were lovely with adequate variety. Not many shops as such but a few restaurants on the waterfront. You can also catch a boat to the Amalfi or Capri here. Better than going into Sorrento and trying to navigate the train, lifts and boat then back again. It can be organised at the hotel. Love our stay from the crowds. Would definitely book again. The hotel food was amazing, Italy is known for its food and the sight of a limited menu means what they serve is done very well and fantastic value. The hotel seems to be a favourite among locals as well, when my wife and I were there, the hotel hosted two weddings. The staff really do help all they can. We were practically shown to the train station and as Piano de Sorrento is perfectly placed to see Pompei, Vesuvius etc it's the best way to get around. The Villa has four stories and is surrounded by 350 metres of private tropical gardens (overlooking the sea) which extend throughout the whole property. Because it is built along the side of a mountain into the rock, you can choose a variety of different 'platforms' from which to look out at the Sea and where the only voice you will hear is that of the waves.
Richly colored bougainvilleas and sculptural agaves lend an additional air of romance to the Villa’s elongated pathways and garden.

Fully equipped with modern amenities, including 2 gourmet kitchens indoor and out, as well as a sauna, private swimming pool, gym area, terraced bar area, hydro-therapy pool, outdoor wood stove, WOOD PIZZA OVEN, WiFi internet connection and more, the Villa also maintains an intimate and magical feeling that will surpass all expectations.

Both Teresa and Ettore live on the grounds and are very unobtrusive, but they are always ready to help if there is a problem or a request you may have. We enjoyed them so much that we invited them to sit with us for after dinner drinks and discussion on more than one occasion! Ettore also arranged a private boat trip around Capri for us as well as a driver (Chicco!) who is worth the price of admission--both at very reasonable prices. And did I mention the pool? It's where we spent most of our time when at the Villa, and it is a definite plus. The villa is located about twenty minutes from Sorrento by car which is limiting if you don't have a vehicle, but there is a local grocery store that is within a 5-minute walk where you can get drinks, delicious paninis, wine, paper goods, and produce. A little farther from the villa is a restaurant Zio Sam's which has wonderful pizza, pastas, etc. All in all, I don't believe you will be disappointed in this property. We give it 5 stars!"

This is a beautiful holiday home located between Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. It is 60 metres squared and can accommodate up to 4 guests in two double bedrooms. The property is immersed in vegetation surrounded by olive and citrus trees.

The villa is well located as it is halfway between Sorrento and Positano – making it the perfect place to make the most of the local sights. It is ideal for day trips to Sorrento, which is 8km away, Positano, 11km away, and all along the Amalfi Coast. Its position means that you can also visit Pompeii and Naples. There is the wonderful beach of Alimuri which is just 5km from the property in Meta’ di Sorrento. Along this beach road, there are also many delicious ‘trattorias’ where you can sample the local Italian cuisine.

The property has been beautifully refurbished to a high standard and taste. All the internal space is located on the ground floor level. There is an open plan living/dining room with a kitchenette which has a dishwasher and all the essentials you need. Here you will also find a TV, a sofa and a dining table with four chairs. A car is recommended and if you have one, you can park it in one of the two allocated parking spaces. At first it's a little scary but then you settle in and realize just how beautiful it is. There is a lift available during certain hours. Our hotel room was the size of a small apartment, very comfortable with good wifi. But the view... the view was amazing. You look right over the bay that is surrounded by cliffs. - "The host Gaetano was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Prior to arrival he messaged to suggest a meeting point as sat navs guide you through a route that’s not possible by car. On that note, when staying at La Casa nel Giardino, I recommend you having transport, but don’t make the mistake we did, and hire a medium sized car - we hired a Nissan Qashqai. Roads in this area are quite narrow, versus the UK, so recommend a small or compact car. Having said that, you get used to the scooter riders who are forever trying to overtake, undertake or avoid a head-on collision. We worked out that’s the norm here and got used to it :). La Casa nel Giardino is wonderful for getting away from it all. Good supermarket in Piano di Sorrento called Conad, which is great value. Gaetano recommended an amazing boat trip across to Capri, with return transport via taxi. That was the highlight of our stay. It all worked like clockwork, with a very helpful and entertaining crew. This accommodation is high spec, clean and has everything you need."
