The shuttle service to Sorrento is very efficient but gets filled quickly, so make your plans and book it as early as possible. One evening we returned to our room to discover that the toilet flushed continuously. Within an our the problem was fixed with minimal fuss. This is typical of the responsiveness of the extremely friendly and helpful staff. The swimming pool is large although shade is at a premium. If sunbathing is what you want it's great. The buffet Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Will we go back? Possibly. The hotel was fine, but we have done all we wish to in the Sorrento area. But we recommend this hotel to others"

Their pier was beautiful,amazing sights to Sorrento and the other way to the black sand beach. The cottages were comfy and so homey. The location is 15min walk to train station. You must get a ticket for $1.50 euro and see Sorrento, 5 mins away. We would definitely go back"

The train station is not too far away, but if you have a lot of luggage it may present a problem as there are no buses and you have to book an Uber 24 hrs prior. The staff were amazing, especially Angela. They were very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were very clean, beds a bit hard, but that because I like mine soft. The breakfasts were lovely with adequate variety. Not many shops as such but a few restaurants on the waterfront. You can also catch a boat to the Amalfi or Capri here. Better than going into Sorrento and trying to navigate the train, lifts and boat then back again. It can be organised at the hotel. Love our stay from the crowds. Would definitely book again. Not a touristy place but rather a place away from the crowds."

The hotel food was amazing, Italy is known for its food and the sight of a limited menu means what they serve is done very well and fantastic value. The hotel seems to be a favourite among locals as well, when my wife and I were there, the hotel hosted two weddings. The staff really do help all they can. We were practically shown to the train station and as Piano de Sorrento is perfectly placed to see Pompei, Vesuvius etc it's the best way to get around. We will definitely go back, especially once we have children. It's great for couples but with the beach just a short lift trip below, there's plenty for a family to do as well.
