- "The location was a little difficult to find at first since it's tucked away down a few sets of stairs off the main road but once we were situated, the experience with the property was amazing. We were always welcomed and greeted warmly, there's a bus stop right by the main road, and it's less than a 10-minute walk away from the edge of the main town. A decent spread for a cold breakfast as well! Slight downsides were that the walls are pretty thin so it was easy to hear our neighbours (although, luckily, they were pretty quiet most of the time) and the washroom was a little snug (but that's to be expected in Europe). But overall, a great place to stay!"

They provided clear instructions about how to get from Marina Grande up to Piazza Dela Pace, and picked us up in a small van to help us get to the B&B with all of our luggages. They have a jacuzzi on site, which we unfortunately didn’t have time to use. The rooms were beautiful with decorated tile on the floor and in the bathroom. But more importantly, they had a fantastic view from the beautifully manicured garden/courtyard area. We had a great breakfast, and they helped us determine a plan to get back down to the port for subsequent travel. Beds were large and comfortable, and we very much enjoyed our night here!"

They were close to everything, so we could walk and enjoy Anacapri. We also adventured out and walked to Capri and the marina. Charming, quaint, adorable, and a perfect vacation for us. Antonino and Giuseppina were fabulous and we will miss them. Anacapri was were the locals live, so we got to immerse ourselves in their world and we enjoyed every minute. Would love to have had more time than the 72 hours that we had as we would have loved walking more of the island."

The location is very convenient for Anacapri, Gotta Azurra and the chairlift up the mountain. Busses to Capri are also easily accessible. Plenty of restaurant choices and grocery store nearby. - "My family had the pleasure of staying at this lovely vacation home during our visit to Anacapri. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and assisted us throughout our stay. We enjoyed the pool and the other outdoor areas on the property. The property has excellent air conditioning and comfortable beds. The kitchen is functional with a good quality gas stove. There is a nearby bus stop to take you into town where you can switch to another bus to take you to Capri or other beaches and locations. Cabs are also available in Anacapri, though they are a bit expensive. There is an excellent restaurant Giorgio's a brisk downhill walk from the villa, with shuttle rides available back up the hill. The more physically adventurous family members walked down to the gorgeous Grotta Azzurra to swim, but there is also a bus available to and from that location. The location of the villa is not for anyone with mobility issues. Anacapri consists of extremely steep, narrow roads. There is no vehicle access to the villa entrance, but rather a narrow footpath. I enthusiastically recommend the villa to anyone looking for a romantic getaway or active individuals looking to really get to know the island."

La Pergola nestles amid luxurious vegetation just off the road which winds its way from Anacapri to the Blue Grotto. The shops, bars and restaurants are all within walking distance or a short bus ride away. The bus stop is practically outside the main gate. Nearby are the famous ruins of the Roman villa of Damecuta, loved and frequented by the emperor Tiberius.
In front of the cottage there is a large shady terrace with spectacular sea views with table and chairs for outside dining and loungers for reading or relaxing while watching the sun sink into the emerald sea. This is a detached, one-roomed cottage, tastefully decorated and enjoys stunning sea views from every window(you can see the sea while sitting in bed).There is a double bed, table and chairs for inside eating or reading, a fully equipped kitchen corner, satellite TV, DVD player-radio, WI-FI internet and bathroom with shower. The cottage is totally independent and private and has its own private entrance from the road.
The swimming pool is situated in another part of the extensive grounds and is reached by steps and paths through the lush garden. Sometimes it is shared by guests(max 2) staying in another cottage set in a secluded part of the grounds.
The swimming pool is open from 1st June-10-October.

- "We had a beautiful and fun time. We especially liked to sit outside on the terrace in the dappled sunlight. Every morning we went into Anacapri on the bus for coffee, then explored the town and surrounds. (The garden of Axel Munthe Villa is exceptional.) We then shopped for fresh produce to make a simple yummy vegan lunch and dinner. We prepared and ate meals at the outdoor table. We felt blessed. The pool was awesome. We had the lovely property to ourselves as there were no guests in the other cottage. Late afternoon we’d take a bus down to the Blue Grotto beach area to swim. It’s possible to swim into the Blue Grotto after the boats leave at 5pm.) Then back to the cottage for a sunset cocktail and pasta. The cute cottage is quite small, so we had to run a tight ship. My suitcase went under the bed. The kitchen and bathroom are adequate. Exactly as expected. We felt peaceful, relaxed and happy, living the simple life as per our plan, a different experience for us as we usually stay in hotels, and when in Capri we’ve always stayed down in Capri town (which is fabulous). We met many friendly locals, many didn't speak much or any English which was fun. The town felt very real. We were surprised to find we loved Anacapri! Luciana was super and kind. We could text her about anything, even a grocery list. She’d contact the Italian speaking store and they’d deliver! We loved our stay! We’d like to come back for longer! Thank you!"
