The villa is derived from an old farmhouse, then renovated and furnished with taste and simplicity.

It is a house of 120 sqm Large, fresh and very bright, with large windows overlooking the garden. It consists of two bedrooms, of 25 square meters. each with the vaulted ceiling of the ancient Mediterranean buildings and a saloon of 6th square meters.

In each room there is a double bed and a single bed, wardrobe and drawer. Each room has access to its bathroom, one with a bathtub-shower and one with a shower cabin.

In addition to the bedrooms and bathrooms there is a large living room-living room with fireplace, dining area and two conversation corners with sofas and bookcase.

The kitchen, very well equipped and furnished with curious or antique objects, directly overlooks the living room dining area.

Around the house there is a garden of 500 sqm Very green, full of trees, windy and quiet, where you can eat, read and relax. Several corners with tables and chairs will allow you to take your breakfast or an aperitif while looking at the sea or under a jasmine pergola. Just in front of the house a lawn space is available to children and their games.

From the garden you can get to the sea through a narrow dirt path. The sea below the villa is clean and crystal clear with large rock esplanades where you can sunbathe. For children there is a small natural pool of sea water carved into the rock and protected by the waves.

The area where the house stands is exposed to the southwest, and is very bright and quiet, with a few houses nearby.

A few minutes (about 500 meters) there is the village of Chiaiolella, with the marina, grocery stores, bars, restaurants, pharmacy and a sandy beach.

To reach the rest of the island there is the L2 bus which stops twenty meters from the house ..

- "I had the luck to find and stay in this idyllic hideaway for a month (sometimes alone and at other times with visiting friends)--snorkeling in the crystalline waters off the immense boulders that lie directly below the villa; dining under the rose and jasmine-covered pergola or at the quaint table overlooking the sea and boats and twinkling lights of Ischia at night; cooking from the bounty of Mariella's large garden in the charming blue-tiled kitchen or roasting fresh caught fish and off-the vine vegetables on the outdoor grill; reading in the hammock; painting the astonishing beauty found wherever one looks; and smelling the luscious abundant blooms competing with each other in the garden. The charming historic home, furnished with the astute touch of an artist, is extremely comfortable for 6 people--with two living areas separated by a table for at least 14 people. We lacked for nothing--tableware, linens, kitchen equipment, beach accessories, and kindness and generosity and respect for privacy far beyond any expectation from the owner and her nearby friends. One can walk the narrow streets to anywhere on the island--down to the yacht basin in the village below the villa for meals or groceries or a swim from the beach; to the center of the island for interesting excursions; to the port for fresh-caught fish, and to the incredibly picturesque little port of Corricella for dinner at waters edge under the moonlight. An island of kindly, proud, seafaring people and immense beauty, that I hope remains a secret--at least for my lifetime. "
