The area was very pleasant and mostly quiet, conveniently near to the station and the entrance to Pompei Scavi (ancient ruins), nearest supermarket that we could find was about 1km away. The food was the real highlight as we took the half board option and Giuseppe and Laurena cooked delicious and varied Italian dishes in plentiful supply every night (including authentic carbonara and seafood linguini with whole crab). There was not anything that we didn't like, however possible improvements could be some tea and coffee making facilities in the room (although Giuseppe made delicious genuine Italian coffee for breakfast and could supply you with others during the day on request - although there may have been an additional charge for that). Overall a hugely enjoyable and relaxing stay and we would reccommend."

- "My family really enjoyed staying at this BnB. The host, Lena, is very personal and took the time to get to know my family. This property is located in a safe and quiet upscale neighborhood about 10 minute walk from the Pompeii ruins and Circumvesuviana train station. The room was immaculate and the breakfast was delicious each morning. One morning we had car service picking my family up at 8 a.m. so the host provided breakfast at 7:30 a.m. On our last day the host drove us to the train station so that we could avoid dragging our luggage through the streets. The host is a wonderful person that you will enjoy conversation with during your visit to Pompeii. Our time at Casa Country was wonderful!"

- "Very clean, nice and modern. Will come back" - "A bit of good luck found me upgraded to a suite, after something was amiss with the original room I booked. It was an adorable, charming room with more space than I knew what to do with. It had an amazing balcony view of the main street through Pompei and everything I needed was within a couple blocks, including a laundromat. Best of all I was just a block or two away from the entrance to the Pompei ruins. The staff was super great, friendly and really helpful. My Italian is terrible, though fortunately every member of staff was great with English, so I survived. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a low to mid budget hotel for visiting the Pompei ruins. I gave the hotel a MINOR ding in my rating over cleanliness, as there was something funky going on in the bathroom. I think the original drain for the toilet may have gotten backed up and there was a nasty smell. BUT they had done their best to clean the bathroom thoroughly and it looked great, bit as time progressed the smell crept in. I wasnt spending that much time in the bathroom and it didnt at all distract from my overall experience. "
