- "We stayed at the hotel in late July of 2018. We booked the hotel specifically because the area around Cetera (pronounced Chet-era in English) is less touristy and crowded than the rest of the Amalfi Coast but still offers a number of local attractions, good food, plenty of culture and decent beaches. The area is gorgeous with a number of hiking trails, *however* most all the beaches are private and you have to pay to access them. This certainly doesn't reflect upon the hotel but considering the hefty city hotel tax, we felt that the city beach should be a public (not private) ammenity. The room is small but very cute and very clean. the manager could have better explained how to use the four separate keys necessary to access the property but other than that No Complaints."

The apartment’s well-connected location does not need guests to rely on their cars or other kinds of transport as a number of amenities, the super public bath - Spiaggia del Lannio and the charming Corso Garibaldi are just a stone’s throw away from here.

Cetara has also been long-known for its seafood and anchovies, and those who wish to see if Cetara lives up to the legacy will find many restaurants serving both, just around the corner.

Beyond food and beaches, the historic Torre di Cetara, the marina and a boat rental are also just a 5-minutes walk from here. Additionally, ferries to Maiori, Minori and Amalfi run from Cetara, making it an ideal base to explore the Amalfi Coast. For day trips or cruising drives to the other gems of this part of Italy, Naples, Positano, Sorrento and Salerno, are all within 30 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes away.

The closest international airport is in Naples, approximately a 50-minutes drive from here.

- "We loved this apartment - the view from the balcony out over the village and into the Med is gorgeous. We also found lots of very helpful folks in the local stores. Cetara is much less touristy and crowded than Amalfi and Positano (it's still a working Italian village), which is a big plus for us. A few tips though - it’s about 60-70 steps to reach the apartment, so be prepared for a climb. Also, the kitchen is a bit sparsely provided if you plan to cook your meals as we do. Lastly, we were a bit worried that the actual street address was not provided. However, we should not have been concerned. The office that runs the local apartments (ce.tours) took us directly to our place and were very helpful for our entire stay. Be prepared to contact the managers on arrival via call or WhatsApp. One benefit we found to Cetara as far as accessibility along the Amalfi Coast is that there is a ferry terminal as an alternate form of travel to always taking the bus if not driving."
