- "We stayed here for 2 nights in August for our anniversary and it was beyond perfect for us. The front desk personnel were so friendly and helpful booking our dinner reservation for the same evening when I emailed them on our way because I had forgotten to do it earlier. The pictures on the website are beautiful but don't even do it justice. The hotel sits up on a cliff on a point so the views are spectacular. I got up every morning to watch the sun rise from our balcony. The pool was also wonderful but we spent most of our time on the "rocky beach" which is a platform down A LOT of steps but you can dive right into the clear, welcoming water. Dinner was an experience to remember with the experienced waitstaff serving an amazing dinner - I had a local fish that was de-boned and skinned right at the table in a matter of minutes. The breakfast also is not to be missed with all the fresh fruit and delicious dishes served on the terrace over looking the sea. We cannot say enough about the people who work there, it is obvious they take pride in their work and love not only what they do but where they live. There is also a shuttle to take you to Amalfi and a very user friendly bus schedule. We were in Europe for the Olympics and tacked this on to the end of our trip, but it is most definitely a highlight and the place I go to in my memories when I want to escape. As one of the other guests told us at breakfast one morning, we WILL be back...already planning for 2025. "

The comfortable apartment is situated in Conca dei Marini, an ancient fishing village of the famous Amalfi Coast, at about 4 km from the centre of Amalfi. From the main road, you reach the apartment climbing about 50 picturesque stone steps. The closest beach is the small beach of “Capo di Conca”, located in a suggestive inlet and rated amongst the ten most beautiful beaches of Italy. Other beaches more easily reachable are situated in Amalfi and Maiori. We loved having coffee every morning looking down at the gorgeous view and the same every night. We used this apartment as a base to go to Amalfi and Positano and couple of times each and it was very easy to get the bus for very cheap with a 10-15 minute walk. There are a lot of stairs and uphill/downhill walks, but you cannot escape that if you visit the area. The town of Conca has awesome restaurants that are delicious, incredible views and very very cheap, compared to Amalfi and Positano, maybe half the cost! I recommend eating at any of the restaurants in Conca! The last, and most important part of this review, is that I need to stress what an incredible help Raffaele is! He is very quick to respond to any and all questions you have through WhatsApp. I had SO many questions for him, even before we arrived. He booked transfers to and from Naples airport, boat rentals (highly recommend if you go there), taxis, bus schedules... anything! He responds very quickly and is very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area for any question we had. I cannot say enough good things about him as you will read in other reviews. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a large modern oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, two still worktop, ready to have a catering too.
The ground floor of the Shah also accesses an outdoor patio furnished with a big barbeque and a sofa and chaise lounge chairs.

This bedroom offers direct access into a terrace with sea views overlooking the Bay of Capo of Conca and La Torre Saracena.
• The other double bedroom is 30 mq and accesses to the same terrace and share the same garden sea view. The bedroom has independent entrance, 5 steps down from the main entrance. The bedroom offers a double bed in cachemire and a double size Rexa last generation hot tube. The sink is an handmade marble pillow. Floor is parquet and has enchanting vaulted ceilings.

Belvedere
The outdoor lounge area is in Belvedere, 20 mt from the entrance of Villa and it is overlooking the sea of Capo of Conca Bay, the Galli island and The Faraglioni, and is equipped with many tables, chair, sunbeds, beach umbrella.

La Bellavista is an apartment of about 80 square meters. It can accommodate 6/8 people. It is located in Conca dei Marini, a magnificent seaside village on the Amalfi Coast, 4 km away from Amalfi and 13 km from Positano.

It consists of two double bedrooms (with the possibility of adding a single bed in each of them), a large kitchen, a living room with sofa bed and two bathrooms (one with shower and the other with bathtub). All rooms have an independent terrace from where it is possible to admire a splendid view. Also in the living room and in the two bedrooms there is air conditioning. The apartment is located on the third floor, to access it you need to climb about 30 steps.

At about 300 meters there is a small market where you can buy all the basic necessities. The house is located in a very quiet area where there is no traffic and you can breathe healthy air. Along the road you can park your car easily. With a few minutes by car you can reach the center of the village where there are restaurants, shops, bars, post office, churches ... For those who love walking, you can reach the center on foot (about 2 km)! If you don't want to use the car, you can take advantage of public transport as there is a stop right in front of the house. In the summer months the municipality of Conca dei Marini offers a shuttle service for all people who want to reach the suggestive 'Marina di Conca' beach, indicated in 2003 by Legambiente among the 11 best beaches in Italy.

The house is very bright and completely immersed in the green of the garden of the Residence San Pancrazio, consisting of 25 Mediterranean-style villas each with its own independent entrance, set on the Vreca tip, immediately above the Norman tower that marks the Cape of Conca dei Marini. The residence is a successful 70s architectural intervention in which the architecture, made up of small white houses blends perfectly with the Mediterranean maquis. Inside the residence there are stone paved paths, stairways that connect the houses and small rest areas marked by low walls in which children find the ideal place to meet and play. The accommodation
Villa Marina, marked as "Villa G4", is part of the Residence San Pancrazio, consisting of small single-family houses distributed on a rocky ridge called Punta Vreca that slopes towards the sea surrounded by lush vegetation. Each villa has its own entrance. The view from the terrace is from Capo Conca to Amalfi, Maiori, Capo d'Orso in Salerno and Punta Licosa in the background, which closes the Gulf of Salerno. The beach of Conca dei Marini can be reached on foot by going down the stairs of Via Marina.

Guest Access
The main entrance to the Residence is from "Via Smeraldo" (Km 25,800 of the S. S. 163 Amalfi-Positano road), but for your convenience it is necessary to use the second entrance located in Via Don Gaetano Amodio n. 26 (on the SS 163 driving from Amalfi, you will find on the right - about 20 meters before the hotel Belvedere). The second entrance of the Residence San Pancrazio is located in front of a convenient parking fee.

Casa della Marina was built in the XVIII century; originally it was used as an office by the shipping company of our family, then as a deposit of the tuna fishery, active until 1956.

To restore this property, we imagined a house, whose natural extension would have been the beach and the sea. The result was a simple beach house, with white walls and handmade Vietri tiles with blue and green patterns. Furnishing are kept to a minimum, in pure Mediterranean style. Inside and out there is an overwhelming sense of serenity and slow flow of time, away from the chaos of the city.

Imagine falling asleep with the sound of the waves in the background, having lunch on the beach, taking a bath at night or at dawn or enjoying a peaceful afternoon in a privileged position reading a book... this is what Casa della Marina offers.

- "The location was fabulous. Just a short bus ride from Amalfi in one direction and Positano in the other. There are 300 steps down to the property from the main road, there is no other access point except via water taxis, which you can organise each day. We used the bus so those steps kept us fit during our stay, there are a further 700 steps up to the supermarket, that kept us even fitter lol In the morning you have the cove all to yourself and we used to get up early for a lovely morning swim. There are 3 restaurants in the cove so from mid-morning it's a happy and vibrant place, as beachcomers and daytrippers arrive for the day. In the evening, people come to the cove in water taxis for dinner. We were there for a week in summer and had a fabulous time. Stefano arranged a water taxi from/to Amalfi for check-in and check-out, which was so helpful as it's one thing navigating the steps with a day bag but quite another with cases too! The accommodation is well equipped with an airconditioner in the main living area, and one in each bedroom. The windows have shutters which shut out the light and minimise any noise. It's a beautiful place to stay, absolutely stunning in the evening when there's a full moon, as we were very fortunate to experience during our stay. Highly recommend!"

We ate at the two village restaurants almost every night and, by the end of our stay, felt like locals as we were greeted by the warm staff at both. Sabatino was a most gracious host, with so much information about the area and his daughter Nunzia (Wonder Tour - Amalfi Coast) helped us plan many adventures, including a day in Vesuvius/Pompeii and a private boat tour. If you are in Amalfi during the off/shoulder seasons (mid-May for us), we had no problems getting around by car (Sabatino will arrange for paid parking up in the village) and felt that the parking fees, though steep in Positano and Amalfi, were worth the freedom that the car provided. Sabatino will add your license plate to the village ZTL, making it an easy in/out of the village. Make sure to send a picture of your plate from the rental car pick up so he can add it before you arrive. "

This beautiful house/villa is situated in Conca dei Marini, one of the most wonderful and colourful towns along the Amalfi Coast, rich in history and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The extraordinary architectural complex of the Church of Santa Maria di Grado and the Sant Rosa da Lima Convent that dominates the town is famous all over the world for the exquisite pastries baked by its Dominican nuns: the Sfogliatella Santa Rosa.
