Aki Surf Place (DOT Accredited) is in the compound of San Juan Surf Resort. It is owned by a legendary surfer, Mr Aki or Aki San. A Japanese who started to develop and pioneered the Surfing Capital of the North, San Juan, La Union. We are located at the heart of San Juan Surf town, one minute walk to the beach passing the resort and the place is very private, with a gate and with a wide garden to park your vehicle. It's quiet, peaceful and best of all - SAFE!

The space
Our place is in the compound of San Juan Surf Resort. We do have a wide garden and we also have our own gate for security purposes. If you have a car or vehicle, our wide garden is available for your parking needs.

Guest access
You can access the garden to park your vehicle and do your relaxation with a breakfast maybe. If you have more clothes to dry, there’s a laundry line at the back of the cottage for you to use. There is also a shower in front the cottage for you to wash off sand first before entering the room. You are free to pass through the resort in going to the beach. You also have free access to our WiFi and BEST of all, the beach is just a few steps away for you to explore and enjoy.

Other things to note
Lots of restaurants, food parks, coffee shops, resto bars, and hangout places nearby. A 7/11 branch is now available as well at Sebay Resort. There are other places you can explore like the water falls in San Gabriel, the Botanical Garden in San Fernando City, the Macho Temple of Chinese in San Fernando City, grape farms in Bauang, Bahay na Bato (stone house) in Luna, La Union and some others.

Our home is located on a hilltop — just a 2-minute uphill walk from town.

🚫 Parking is temporarily unavailable until September 30, 2025 due to ongoing roadwork.
✅ We offer free pick-up and drop-off from Miryinda Restaurant for check-in and check-out.

🅿️ After September, we’re allotted 1 gated parking slot (2 cars max if coordinated ahead).

Guest access
🏡 This is a private unit within a compound. While the space is exclusively yours during your stay, shared amenities like the pool and BBQ area are open to other guests as well.

Early check in fee is P300/hr from the time of arrival until 2pm. Late checkout fee is P300/hr from 11am. Early check in and late check out are subject to availability.

House Rules:
- Please rinse off sand before entering the house, there is a shower by the pool
- Do not flush toilet paper or napkins in the toilet to avoid clogging
- Please do not rearrange the furniture
- Any damages incur a fee
- Lost keys, or if you accidentally take home our keys, incur a fee
- We are pet friendly but please clean after your pets, guests will be charged for
any damages or stains by pets
- Quiet hours start at 9pm
- No alcoholic drinks by the pool area
- Pool is open from 7am-7pm
