Nestled in the heart of the popular "Barbieux" area of Roubaix, just a few minutes from the famous Barbieux Park, the Villa Cavrois and its Mallet-Stevens gardens, the swimming pool museum, the Coliseum, or even 15 minutes by car from the centre of Lille, we offer you accommodation in a former private mansion, built more than 120 years ago on the orders of a family of textile manufacturers... A journey to the heart of Roubaix's history and industrial past!

The space
Built in 1904, the house is marked by a resolutely "art nouveau" architecture and arabesques. This is why in this room we wanted to pay homage to the "Art Décoratif" movement, much more symmetrical and geometrical, which would find its audience and its worldwide apogee a few years later in 1920.

Take a seat in this little cocoon, lined with midnight blue touches and gilding that will undoubtedly transport you to the cosy and hushed atmosphere of the Roaring Twenties.

Once the door is closed, you enter a bubble of calm... You access the independent toilets, as well as the bedroom through the airlock offering plenty of storage space as well as the inevitable courtesy tray with tea, coffee and small sweets!
A comfortable Queen size bed (160x200) with top of the range bedding will allow you maximum relaxation.
A connected television screen is nestled in front of the bed.

No doubt you will feel on cloud nine thanks to the fluffy carpeting and dimmable lighting in the room.

Continue beyond the bedroom to the spacious bathroom with a charming old workbench converted into a vanity unit and a shower with granite tray and rainwater column.

The charm of this room and its "cocoon" aspect will certainly contribute to the peaceful night that awaits you!

The next morning, in the reception room located on the ground floor, a hearty breakfast made of local and homemade products will be served in the form of a buffet.

The bed canopy, the drapes and the bathroom articulated around the period fireplace, there is no doubt that you are here in a room with the allure of a castle and a romantic "shabby chic" style.
The room is built around a Queen size bed with particular emphasis on the comfort of the bedding.
There is a sitting area with a table and armchairs where you can work on a computer or enjoy a glass of wine with your partner.
A spacious wardrobe allows you to store your personal belongings and keep them safe in the safe provided.
A courtesy tray equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine allows you to prepare a delicious coffee or tea.

In the bathroom, you will first be surprised by an imposing period fireplace, around which you will find a spacious rain shower, a fan assisted towel dryer, a double washbasin unit with ample storage space and some welcome products at your disposal, as well as a suspended toilet.

Enter our Balinese signature suite and ...let yourself be carried away by the most complete change of scenery of a 100% Balinese atmosphere in the heart of Lille metropolis.

Tropical green, king size bed with canopies, stone sculpture, wooden furniture, rain shower, everything is planned so that the tropical atmosphere is there and that your stay in the Balinese suite is a parenthesis of relaxation, disconnection and well-being.

The suite is located on the ground floor, on the garden side, where the hustle and bustle of the city is a distant memory.

The signature suite consists of three main parts:
- The entrance hall with a wardrobe and a courtesy tray where you can make yourself a nice cup of coffee/tea.
- The bedroom with a huge king size bed in the centre.
A sitting area with armchairs and a table where you can enjoy a hearty home-made breakfast made from local produce and served directly to your room on request.
Behind the headboard is the bathroom with a large rain shower (160x90), double washbasin unit and towel dryer.
- The wellness area has a private hot tub for your exclusive use, a shower for easy rinsing and a toilet.

To guarantee you total privacy and the best possible change of scenery, the suite has its own private garden of about 50 m2 facing south.
Large bay windows will allow you to enjoy the view from the room and from the hot tub, even when the weather is not sunny.

For your comfort, slippers and bathrobes are provided.
