The space
The ancestral residence of the Barberini family in the historical centre of Scarlino is opening its doors to tourists, errant travellers and those passing through this part of Tuscan Maremma for business. This is 1900 Colonial.

It 's the most fascinating room of the house, with objects that remember the travels of my grandparents and uncles and those of my self. Africa and India blend with modern comforts and romanticism: a big bathtub where you can lay and watch the fire in the fireplace. The two windows overlook the square, where in summer the town is buzzing with life.

I do not live in the house and it is difficult to have the chance to meet each other. But just call and I or one of my collaborators will arrive for any needs.
From 3,00 pm to 6,00 pm you can enter in the city centre of Scarlino to unload the luggage previously sending the number of your plate. Otherwise you can park your car and reach the properties by walk.

Four buses a day connect to the city of Follonica from which trains depart to Rome, Pisa and Florence.

Other things to note
You can park all around the village. The perimeter is small, so the car is never too far away. However, you can bring the car under the house to load and unload luggage. From 3,00 pm to 6,00 pm you can enter in the city centre of Scarlino to unload the luggage previously sending the number of your plate. Otherwise you can park your car and reach the properties by walk.
The local tax is not included in the rate and it can be payed at the check out.
